Where do I get that texture roller?

GW games are quite rules dense so having reminders is a great idea (just look at the activation tokens that come in Warcry and Kill Team). I do think that if they are thematic to what they represent and fit in with the look of an Army, no one should have an issue with them.

Tokens are great! Always! I use the toad and the little demon from Cursed City as familiars. I put them next to the caster, enemy unit or friendly unit depending on what spell was used; buff, debuff, etc. (I don't play Warhammer; so this is based on Dragon Rampant's magic system.)

I love this idea! I should really make some tokens for my 40k Adeptus Mechanicus, I definitely need all the help I can get remembering which rules are in effect

I did something similar for my Gloomspite with having a token for the Bad Moon so it's clear where it is on the board, not felt that I ever needed the reminders but they're cool to have.

Great video thanks , I use my own cheat sheets for my killteam armies , another benefit I find of writing my own sheets, is by taking time to write it down it helps me remember it better than just reading it.

Very cool intro. I also feel loke GW is increasing the problem by regularly updating the rules now. If you play rarely you have to learn a bit of a new game every time...

The content of this video was unexpected from the title and very useful. "Cheat sheet" brings to mind the list of the abilities you receive from the warscrolls. Taking that one step further and making a cheat sheet for the interactions and the intentions you had building the list is a valuable insight. Even if you don't have ADHD the very act of codifying those decisions is bound to make you reflect on what choices you made and why. Thankyou 😄

Learning new rules is the roughest part for me. I feel like I only learn half of half the rules. Thank you for the great video and tips.

I bought the greenstuff world aztec roller for my Seraphon and then started looking for examples as inspiration, and found your minis and channel. I love your bases! Do you have a video or tips for the detail on the bases? Are you using the washes from huge miniatures? Your work is beautiful and inspiring!

Those look great, I like both the effect you got on the "steel" parts but also at first glance that trim looked like you put way way way more work into it. I'm curious what you think of the idea of doing an extreme highlight on the yellow bits with some actual gold paint just dotting the rivets and corners and then maybe the lion's nose. I'm also curious what you think of the idea of using florescent paints for that first layer before your drybrush and contrast steps.

Iiiinteresting, reminds me of a tutorial I saw years ago on youtube, he painted something but changed his mind and painted over (forgot if it was from purple to blue or other way around), always wondered if that made a difference then skipping the 'mistake' and painting right over, kinda want to try this with different colours (besides got 2 buddies that have emperor's children they wanna paint and I'm loving this purple)

Hubby and I are splitting Skaventide I am getting the rats, he is getting the Stormcast. I am kind of sad they won't be painted in awesome colours like this...but maybe this pink/purple will work on Stormvermin armour.

Yeah I think they work best when using it with white ink, it just seems to color the white.

I love the Seraphon models! I am avoiding them, while my son is enjoying his Seraphon army. I just gathered my old unpainted Skaven models, to paint some test models before the shiny new models enter my home. I think variations of this way of painting is the direction I am going for a LOT of my armies. I look forward to your vidoes, the colours are just so fun and interesting to me and the combinations you use are great inspiration for anything I am painting.

Any tips on wet blending contrasts? I would love to apply this rainbow effect to my Carnosaur!
