I'm new to the raw milk world. I have some going sour that I want to do something with. I know clabber seems easy, but there are so many videos on it, everyone does it slightly different, I've been confused on it. Some people add buttermilk to it, well, what if we don't have any! Also, most seem to have the cream left in it, but I've already skimmed the cream, so I was looking what to do with just the souring milk. I will watch your other videos, this one was very helpful. You are simply adorable. Thank you for taking the time for this.

I like to make overnight oats with chia seeds soaked in kefir. I keep it in the fridge overnight, then add fresh fruit in the morning. Peaches and blueberries are one of my favorites. I also add kefir to my waffles and sourdough bread.

Please reconsider the exploitation of another mother species breast milk. Dairy products cause estrogen driven cancers such as breast, prostate, and endometrial cancers. Like us, all animals produce hormones. The lactation breast milk of mother cows releases far more estrogen as she has just given birth to a growing calf. Please reconsider the harsh exploitation of fellow animals by growing a diversity of health promoting plants and fungi to feed humans directly.

I’ve watched this multiple times now, it’s so helpful. Our cows due date is TODAY! And she’s ready to pop! How long do you keep calf on mom full time? Do you ever separate temporarily, like at night, to begin sharing milk? When do you sell/butcher calf (at what age?) Thank you so much for all your help!!

I have a question! I can buy raw milk in my state. The Problem is, we are older and don't drink too much milk. I want to make cultured butter and one gal of raw milk only makes so much cream. Is it safe to buy "Heavy whipping cream" at Kroger's and combine it with the cream from the raw milk to make the cultured butter quantity I want? I have a UA-cam video called "How to make Cultured Butter easily. " I would so appreciate it if you would let me know if it's safe to culture raw cream and store bought pasteurized heavy whipping cream together. Do I need A culture of plain Greek Yogurt to add to this mixer of the two types of cream? Thank you for visiting and replying on my UA-cam page.

It is not Cottage Cheese. It's Farmer Cheese. This cheese will be more delicious if you use the oven with temperature 212 degrees for a couple of hours. Besides, using the oven is easier than warming up clabber on the stove.

I have a pint of clabbered raw cow milk in my fridge now. It was set out on the counter while it was still warm from milking. It clabbered within 3 days while covered with a lid. It fizzed when opening it to examine. I placed it into my fridge, covered, since. Been in fridge for 1 week. Can I remove a couple of tablespoons of the whey on it to add to some more fresh milk (w/cream) to leave on counter to 2nd generation make clabber again? Also, can cottage cheese be made with the remainder of my first jar just like on your video here? Thank you!❤

Some kefir is brown. Mine is snow white. In Texas, you have far to much heat to live, which turns kefir brown. I'm just guessing. Noone in Texas has seen snow.
