Stephanie, I will tell Mr. Rueffer you said this. He will be happy you enjoy hearing about the old ways. Thank you for your compliment. Do you knit? I knit most of the wrap shawls. Great for milking cows! You would love it!

You folks are our favorite. We are near Amistad Reservoir and homestead in our rural neighborhood. We have learned a tremendous amount from you and appreciate all you do.

Thank you for creating these videos and providing such great information. The information about the electric meter location and lifetime fee was really helpful. I was completely unaware of this. Great video. Love the stories of your husband's childhood too.

Great Tips!!!!! FOOD!!!! I get so angry when people leave food on their plates!!! My kids know better, but some of their spouses do not!!! When we go out to eat, you better eat everything or you better get a to go box!!! I can not stand Food Waste!!! Clothing!!! When you know a Special event is coming up, start shopping ahead. Know when a store is going to have their big big sale!! We own a ScreenPrinting/Embroidery shop, so we have an abundance of Shirts. Stay Basic, Jeans and Long Sleeve Tshirts for Winter, Shorts and Tshirts for Summer. I may wear the same set of jeans or set of shorts for 5 or 6 years, until they fray away!! Work Clothes are for Work!!!!! Thank you for another great Monday Class!!!!

Cindy, sounds like we are on the same page about wasting food. I am happy to know I am not the only one concerned about this topic. Thank you for watching!

We will always have hogs for food scrapes. Game chickens are great mama hens, they set on eggs and then raise the chick beautifully.

Great tip and thank you for sharing. People need to know which chickens will raise chicks because lots of breeds will not.

I’m so thankful to have chickens. Now when people join us for a meal and don’t empty their plate we ask them to scrape their plate into the scrap bowl

There is absolutely nothing that bugs me more than people that waste food. We have not eaten out now in years. But when we used to it would just drive me insane to see people get up from their table and leave half of a steak or half of a baked potato or a plate full of nachos or whatever it was, and walk away. 😮 We always brought our leftovers home because we could get at least another meal or two out of them. Now because we raise a lot of our own food, it is like the ultimate sin for anybody to not eat everything on their plate!😂

Yes, I totally agree with your comment. It really hurts our feelings if someone waste the food we worked so hard to provide. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
