In Australia the 2024 RAV4 car manual, says you can use even up to 5W-30, l just changed the break in oil at 1580 km with Toyota 0W-20 oil, which is the lightest grade I have been able to find in Australia with Toyota oil.

I'd probably argue you over applied it, the result is still great, but a little does go a long way, I've had the same tube of Autosol for 5 years and its just about half used, it does tend to linger even when you can't really see it.

As an R1200RT owner, I am a little biased, but I would say if you had to have just one bike, I can't think of a better bike to have. However, in the interest of balance, I will advance 3 reasons that might put off a potential buyer: 1. Cost; not just the bike itself, but all after-market gear (and I am not talking BMW-branded stuff here!) 2. Weight. Although this is a positive boon on motorways, it affects its agility and God help you should you have to up-right it. 3. Limited handlebar space for accessories. I had to buy two extenders to accommodate camera, GPS / phone. Fantastic bike though and I would never trade it in for anything other than another R1200RT..

the AMG 18" with 225 and 255 premium tyres is the best way to go with the w209, you lose the right aspect ratio of the arch to tyre curve with 19s. Without losing the ride quality and increasing traction and grip. I've had just about every top end tyres and my opinion is the Goodyear Eagle F1 supersport is the best all round performance for the money. the only tyres that have slightly more dry grip don't have anywhere near the wet grip of the super sports

Would this work with something that has a little heavier rust? Buying a GSA that was taken on the dalton and the owner didn't clean off the calcium chloride very well

30 years old? Japanese motorcycle only took 5 years to be much more worst than that. What is the secret?

I have 2005 Mercedes c230 kompressor I have shifter issue. Once you put a used shifter does it have to be programmed to your car? Because dealer is telling me it need to be flash and programmed to my car. Also I have bought used one from eBay and it matched exact number once I install used one it didn’t solve my issue. Then I took my car to the dealer and they saying it need to be brand new and programmed to my car. Also I have changed the conductor plate and does that also need to be programmed? Please help thanks

It is sad toyota doesn't make these type of aurions sportivo anymore. They are such steong cars with a V6 engine.

The car manual of recent Toyota hybrids clearly states 0w16 but Toyota dealerships in the Netherlands all put 5W30 oil in the engine when you bring it in for service. Some will even refuse to put 0w16 in claiming it's not as good for the engine. When I first learned of this I suspected dealerships to want to make a quick buck off unsuspecting customers by putting in slightly cheaper oil, but since they all seem to have agreed to do it I think the reasons are more related to Dutch climate (temperate with fairly mild winters and summers, temperatures average out to 0C in winters and 20C in summer although extremes have been getting worse) and road conditions (good infrastructure and very little elevation). A few mechanics I asked about it seem to confirm this line of thinking, additionally they said the only difference between 0W16 and 5W30 is going to be slightly higher engine efficiency resulting in lower emissions when using the former, which they claim is also why the manual recommends this oil (legal requirement to meet the emission standards given for the model by the manufacturer) Are they on to something or is this really just a reason to cheap out on maintenance cost?

My Westinghouse seems to do the same. Press Mode and all comes good.

It's very important to respect the tightening torque! 20Nm Torque Specs NGK => Cast Iron: 18-25.3 lb. ft. Aluminum: 18-21.6 lb. ft.
