I had the amazing opportunity to meet up with Sharmon from SWF Beach Life, and we shelled Keewaydin Island, Florida together! I have followed Sharmon's shelling journeys since the beginning days of her channel, and so it was quite the honor to be able to meet up and collaborate together on a shelling video project like this!

No narration, no explanation of what we're seeing 🙄🙄
Take a hand rake just think what could be under the sand. 🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚🐚
Wow. What an amazing grouping of shells and an even better adventure.
I need those minis
We’re looking at getting out of Florida to do some shelling and we were thinking Puerto Rico would likely be the easiest and possibly cheapest option. We would love to add some self collected Caribbean shells to our shelves. As always, I enjoyed this episode!
It is a unicorn horn
I have never seen a white fighting conch with a purple aperture! Great find! Nice collection!
Thank you for sharing the different days post storm. The blues in the shells were spectacular!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing the specifics of where you were. Always appreciate that. Thank you for sharing the information of the book. I thought it was a gaudy nautica ! Appreciate your videos!
Hi there! I will always provide, at minimum, the general area of where I am visiting. 🐚🐚 I appreciate you coming along, and thank you so much for watching!
@@solaceinshelling6552 I really appreciate the locations! Thank you
Thank you so much for my vicarious beach and shell fix. For some reason, The Fates/Lady Karma plopped me in Chicago - no shell beaches or places to rock-hound, but I have managed to acquire a houseful anyway! Do you know how/why these lovely critters expired and left this life? All sizes/ages. I know about Oyster Drills, but there are so many empty lovelies just laying there...
Great shells, nice calming walk!
Love the quiet and peaceful video but I do miss hearing you talk. The scenery is fantastic! Some of those shells were awesome! Brian you just outdo yourself every video. Sometimes I just watch them over and over and I realize you picked a perfect name " solace" . The best!!!
I truly appreciate your feedback here. Thanks so much for coming along! 💙
How many times can one person watch this incredible, informative video! Thank you, appreciate you sharing! I am watching all the videos!
Thanks so much for watching!
Sigh...beautiful as always. The oyster shell is European Flat Oyster? It was so pretty. Thank you for a peaceful hunt, and the pup! Precious. Have a lovely week out there!
@13:22, you MUST take that shell home! Wowsers 😮
I so enjoyed the sights and sounds without any words this time. Just feeling as if I were by your side finding shells. Uncomplicated. Thank you so much.
Fabulous ❤ Beautiful footage as always …happy shelling 🐚
Thanks so much for watching, shell friend!
@@solaceinshelling6552 Always 😍
Those scallop shells are so beautiful! Love the Maine shells, and always enjoy your episodes from there.
Thank you for another terrific episode Brain so great finds and communities! Love the whole neptune!!! Happy Fall to you!
Thank you so much for watching! 💙
Your videos are really good, and you find the best shells!
Excellent, superb. You’ve done it again. Thank you!
Woo, thank you so much for watching!
Hey Brian... How's things going? Good to see ya. Hope all is well. As always, love the journey and the treasures ! Keep'm coming. Have to say, jealous of some awesome finds you come across. Thanks for sharing. Greatly appreciated.
Too bad you left so many scallops behind. Cleaning up beautifully
Hi there! I have quite a few shells in my collection already, so often when I am filming these episodes, I'll generally only take home a few specimens. I agree that they cleaned up beautiful! Thanks for watching!
Scallops my favorites 🎉
Love the blue❤
Beautiful shelling! Thank you
Thank you for watching!
Maine is such a lovely state! My hopes are to visit the New England states in the near future! Also, I love the size of the deep sea scallops! Thank you for this video!
Thank you so much for watching! 💙
Thank you. It’s been a rough couple of weeks and I needed this style of vlog from you. I miss your voice ❤️ but this one was sooooo serene and peaceful with so much beauty ❤🐚🐚
Those blue shells are so pretty
Do you think there are more chestnut turbans on honeymoon island or caladesi island? Thank you for sharing!
Great video! Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely amazing video ! Gorgeous shots of the rock formations and the foliage !! So tranquil. Thank you again.
What name is this island I wanna go there now😍
Hi this was filmed on the islands of North Caicos, and Middle Caicos, in Turks and Caicos. Thanks for watching!
I would love to see some of those cleaned up
I didnt get to come up to Maine this year so I'm glad I get to see it through your eye ,thanks
Thank you for taking us on a wonderful adventure. You found some really nice shells. 🐕🌵🇺🇸
Maine is on my bucket list to shell for sure!!
My cousin Craig is actually a lobster man and lives on Oars island!
It's truly a beautiful area! Thanks for watching!
This video reminds me of when I am down on the shore and just wandering around caught up in my own thoughts and just rummaging through the rocks at the tide pools a short distance from my house...and the sounds of the sea and the cry of the gulls mixed in all make for a great day of exploration...and today, sitting and just watching...in 4K...and not getting my feet wet...priceless....so, thanx for letting me tag along...!
These are the best experiences, my friend! I don't mind getting my feet wet so long as it's not super cold, lol! Thanks of course for watching, in 4K!
Awwww the crib stone bridge my great aunt and uncle had a cottage on Bailey’s Island and we spent many weekends there as children combing the beach for shells , way back when you used to be able to find a lot of sea glass in different colors , now not so much!
Yeah, sea glass can be hard to find in this area, but it's always nice to enjoy a beach-combing experience Thanks for watching!
Beautiful scenery, shells and music. Thank you. How difficult (was it odd?) was it for you to make this vid w/o talking?
Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for always taking us along on your wonderful and exciting journies, I've been having a really rough year lately but since I discovered your channel, it's helped a lot with my mental health and it always gets me excited to go back to the beach and look for more shells and just take a step back and enjoy the beach.
Saw the Cribstone Bridge and shouted, "We've been there!" Looked like you were at Wolfe's Neck State Park in Freeport as well. Love that part of Maine.
I would appreciate it if you told your location just in case some of us would like to go to Maine and shell!!!!
I meant to include this in the original video title. This episode was filmed at Harpswell, and on Orrs Island, and Bailey Island! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this beautiful video. The Neptune shell, Quahogs, purple Muscles, Dog whelks, great finds. I want to visit Maine. Hopefully one day. My travels are usually West Gulf coast. I’ve been captivated by the West Gulf coast from Saint Pete down to the 10,00 Islands. ( since 1995 )Thanks again! Stunning video of the calm waters. 🐚😊
Very relaxing! 😊
Thank you for sharing this beautiful area. Interesting shells. Beautiful dog! Must be cooling off there.
Now I know what people mean when they say, "The video feels like home." So fun right? I just love the gaudy's the 10K has. Yes, those little cones are Dusky cones and Acid Magic is the best!
Yes! The Gaudy's are some of the best here! Also those Vera Moonsnails, are super fun finds as well... when you can find them 😂 As always, thanks for watching, dear shell friend!
@@solaceinshelling6552 I hope your summer was great!
Aren't you afraid to pick up the cones bare handed ?
All of the Cones found in this video were dead, empty shells - only live Cone Snails possess the ability to sting. Additionally, all of the species of Cone snails found in Florida are not deadly(unless you are allergic). Cone Snails of the Indo Pacific region can be lethal. Thanks for watching!
wow !
