It would have been funny to run into you on Kice! I hope you enjoyed your trip there. It's such a cool looking island. I never leave disappointed. I'm glad you got to see the periwinkles!
I was at Kice a week ago. It is sooo beautiful and never lacking for great shells. I love how you see the beauty in shells even when they aren’t perfect…I try to do the same!
Was there last week….actually the shelling was awesome at Dickmans Island ….the shells at Kice were mostly old……and the smell of rotting pin shells was overwhelming . Keewaydin was also amazing got so many great shells there too. We were just lucky to be there when strong north winds were blowing and it was bringing in the shells.
I was actually at Dickmans right before Kice on this tour, and the shelling was AMAZING! The allure of Kice for me was shelling in and amongst the trees 💙 Thanks for watching!
Glad you got to visit Kice. Haven't made it there yet but it's on my bucket list! Was nice meeting you on Honeymoon Island the other day. Hope you found some good stuff on my beach! Merry Christmas!🎄🎁
It was so nice to meet you at Honeymoon(and thanks for the tip to head north on the island 😃) I'll get this episode uploaded sometime in the future, but have soooo many other adventures coming before, lol! Thanks for watching!
The periwnkles on the trees are so cool. I so rarely ever see them but to see so many of them alive and out of the water is pretty neat. That knobless FFC is amazing, I always love seeing those. Thanks for taking us along to Kice and Happy Holidays!!
Hi friend - those periwinkles truly are special. I have only ever seen them in social media posts from Kice Island, so it was amazing to see them live and up close, lol! Hope you had a great Holiday season, and Happy New Year!
I filmed this all last August, so shelling was a little "slow", lol. I was at Dickman's right before this stop and had an absolute full shell bag there, haha. I'll have that episode up sometime in the near future! Thanks for watching!
Pink Pen shells... are you referring to the ones I found in Turks and Caicos? Those would be Amber Pen Shells, and yes, they are absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for watching!
Holy WOW!...2 sunrise venus hinged shell finds!!!...So pretty..BTW...have you ever heard of Topsail Island in NC? Saw a picture in a magazine showing a huge amount of coquinas in various shades of pastels that was breathtaking. The photo was a 2 page spread and so stunning! Would you consider ever visiting this place, also? And, this adventure sure showed what the ocean can do to the shells before you find them...lol..and, of course, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!!!...this video of your visit to Kice Island is like a Christmas present to us viewers, so thank you for that!!!...and once again, thanx for letting me tag along on yet another shelling adventure with you!...in 4K, of course!!!!
Hello friend, I have only featured Holden Beach, NC on this channel and that was a quick stop on the drive north from Florida to Maine last year. I'd love to get to Shackleford Banks some day - we'll see! Hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and thank you as always for watching, and in 4K!
Have you been watching Ocean Soul videos?!? 😂 you sounded like you were channeling Tyler with that “nauti-gauti”. Kice is such a wonderful place! I got to spend my 50th birthday there and it was absolutely magical. ❤️
I didn't even realize this until after I read your comment here, lol. I usually try to stay away from the trendy/colloquial titles of shells, but it kinda just came out haha. Thanks so much for watching!
Most of my collection is in tupperware containers at the moment(small living space in NYC, lol!). For cleaning it depends - generally a bleach soak will clean, or at least make it easier to clean up sediment, and crusts. If a shell could still use some extra cleaning love, I'll dip in some muriatic acid which will help to bring out color brialliance! Thanks for watching! :)

It would be so funny to bump into you on the beach, shell friend...maybe someday 😎
Thanks for watching!
You found, after a lot of cleaning, some amazing , beautiful shells. Thank you.
Thanks for the great video. It's like a Christmas present. Love all your videos.
Thank you so much for watching!

Hi Brian. Love me some Kice Island! Never disappoints. Thanks for taking us along. Every video is just like being there.
Indeed, Kice doesn't disappoint! It was my first time shelling here, so hopefully more great adventures here to come!

見てくれて本当にありがとう、友よ!
Love Kice island! Fun video. I was there in October and my shell bag was so heavy I could barely carry it. 😂 🤗 🐚 🐚 🐚 🐚

Question ❓ What place did you find those pink pen shells? There so beautiful!

Огромное спасибо за просмотр этого контента, друг мой!
Not sure if you filmed this before or after a big storm we had last week. The 10,000 islands are beautiful. Glad you got to Kice!
Hi, yeah this was filmed last summer so shelling was a little "quiet". I did love my first experience on Kice 😃
Thanks for watching!
Go to marshy tide pool areas to find your best crowns
Kice is on my list for sure! But only one hour?? 😢
Hi friend! This was the second stop on a tour with Reel Kind from last summer - the first part is longer and will be released soon 😃

How do you cleanup your shells for display?

. I shelled it for 30 yrs .
I always find alphabets on kice
