Thanks for sharing your trip. I’m thinking of something similar in September. At minimum London but wasn’t settled on the next country. However after watching your vlog if it’s only 2 1/2 hours to Paris, I might do the same. Did you fly back from Paris home or London? Were you travelling with checked luggage or carry on?

I was raised in Fla. so I know about that heat and humidity you're dealing with. The older I got the more sick I became from it. I moved back home to Nova Scotia where we have winter here. LOL. I love your videos and I do envy what you can plant as much of that isn't happening here. Between the deer and winter, we have to have plants that are toxic to deer so they will stay away from them. It's 41F here at midnight and I'm eating it up.

Just beautiful. Sorry you got hit with the deer though. Glad the plants came back. I'm watching from southwestern, Nova Scotia. I live on a small lake in a small A Frame cottage just outside of town. The deer issue here is something else. They are even overtaking the small town to the point of destroying anything anyone plants. The town is planning a cull. I moved home to Nova Scotia in 09 from the US where I was brought up in Florida. I have a tiny deck on my cottage and I have to do a container garden only. This is a rental in a line with 9 other A Frames so no fencing done here. I wish. I have to be very careful what I plant here and most of it is pushed back up against the wall of the cottage where the deer can't reach. They don't mess with my mint which is great. I found your channel when I was looking for info on Foxglove. I'm working my way thru your videos from older to newer.

April 5, 2024. Hi, I just found you two and what a breath of fresh air. So loving the positivity. I grew up in Florida after being adopted from Nova Scotia in the dark ages. I had some great gardens when I lived in the US. I got spoiled by having year round access to garden centers. In 08 I moved back to Nova Scotia. Now garden centers here are about 2-3 months long. Now I'm reduced to a tiny deck garden and I have to push everything back up against the wall of my rented A Frame. That's because this place is surrounded by deer. It's a rental with 9 other A Frames in a line here. So I can't fence anything in or make any changes. I found you because I'm looking for info on Foxgloves and boy did I find it. I want something on the front end of my deck that the deer will leave alone and I found that Foxglove are toxic to them. Plus they grow wild here. As a writer I have the time to start watching your channel from the beginning and I'll join you on FB. Thank you for producing something so positive. ❤

Question. This is such a good idea. Thankyou. My question….iI notice you mulch your flower beds under the oak tree. How do you clean the leaves out in the fall without getting rid of the mulch?
