Soooo this is caused by corporate greed, the publics stupidity to continue to pay the prices, Trump took away laws and regulations that stopped protecting the public from predatory lending, and bank greed. Plus the failure of capitalism. Manufacturers realized that they make more money charging as much as they can because we pay it.

Yeah man, shit's crazy right now. I went to look into buying a second-hand F-Type R, and even with an 830 (you read that right) credit score, they were like "yeah, that's 9% interest". Keep in mind, I already own a Porsche Macan GTS, and my interest rate on that was 5% . . . on a second-hand Macan. So yeah, no thanks.

The other problem is of course online buying, c'mon you can't ignore that as a major reason why b and m stores are closing

Luckily rates are dropping (see Feds lowering a 1/2 point now and probably again soon) unemployment is low and dropping and inflation is as well. Now it was bad enough that more is needed but at least its clearly trending the right way.

It's not just the prices of new cars and late model used cars. It's the quality and reliability. No one wants to pay $100K for what is a disposable vehicle that will need replacement or major repairs in a few years.

2023 Tundra owner here. I have had no problems with my truck and i am also a lifelong Toyota junkie. The best warranty is the one that a manufacturer will stand behind and Toyota always has... unlike Ford that trys to skate out of it (my experience) and Chevy where they have no clue what to do and try to put you in a new one instead of engineering a solution. I am a retired auto technician and i will stay with my Toyota...always.

This is something I will say, time and time again. If the CELICA, didn't exist, Supra would have never seen the light of day... AND ON TOP OF THAT, The Celica, is a BETTER, sports car, than the Supra.

I had a 2017 Lincoln MKZ, I put over 150,000 before I trade it in, it's a great car, just kept up with the maintenance, and had a blast with it. I have the twin turbo v6, stock 400hp. Really reliable cars. Definitely a car to look into
