The big missing is Mazda CX5, Mazda produces the best cars for the price in terms of reliability. I used to have a Corolla and I would said last for long time however the new ones as well as the Camry with the CVT transmission doubt will have the same reliability
BMW is underrated. I have had 4 of them. All well padt 250 000 kms. Current 525 is 2004 model with 376 000kms on the clock. Only replacements were brake pads/ rotors, battery and rubber belt. Still going well. Doesnt miss a beat.
Major repairs , if no major repairs exceeding 600+ and it starts everyday it’s reliable . Unreliable cars high maintenance around 1k to 3k in repairs and won’t start or car shuts down.
@ottoilyasova1071 That's a very low bar. Every car should have no major repairs for the first several years. Period. Any car that needs more than scheduled oil changes, brake pads, and assorted fluids is a problem waiting to happen
Ever wonder why you still see so many Panther Platform cars still on the road and they stopped making them in 2011. That would be the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars
Haven’t had any problems ; 110k mi and going…. But next maintenance schedule is pricy. Not much diff than Lexus service at the same mileage. X5 b58 and vehicle components buck the bmw unreliable reputation. BMW is like a broken clock; even that gets the time right 2x/day. For BMW, it’s the x5 40i and 340i.
BMW has built its reputation for unreliable things, but nothing is permanent! There are at least some models that can be considered reliable although a high percentage are the ones from the past which are unreliable. The 340 and 440 are great cars from bmw. I was really skeptical of getting ANY bmw, but they are nice looking cars so a reliable one thats cheap and around 20k is an amazing deal
The problem with BMW like a lot of luxury brands, if one does break down it can cost big $$ to fix. But the B58 engine is supposed to be really reliable.
You’re just being ignorant. Thing change over time, BMW was once unreliable but some engines they make now are well enough to be given Toyota’s stamp of approval
My grievance with acura/honda is the shifter. One of the least intuitive I've ever had the displeasure to use. X5...reliable? Maybe bmw most reliable. Lol Does lexus still use those idiotic track pads and joysticks for the radio?

Lurv My 2021 Mazda CX-5...The Best Vehicle For The Money I Have Ever Owned...
A to B with dependability, 40+ mpg and decent tunes with comfort! I want one. Oh, I’m an outdoorsy type too !
Nissan frontier should definitely be on this list

How can you tell that a car is reliable after ONLY one or two years?

I was surprised by the BMW X5! But how can a 2024 model get a reliability rating in 2024 that's less than one year service?
Ever wonder why you still see so many Panther Platform cars still on the road and they stopped making them in 2011. That would be the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Cars
Yeah the BMW X5 might have one of the best engines but what about all the plastic that surrounds that wonderful engine
Leaky leaky

What's your opinion on a 2012 A7 ? I'm considering 🤔 buying one
Surprised with crosstrek over Outback. Guess the cvt are upgraded
I drive a crosstrek sport it's slow and drinks fuel.
Nice
2024 X5 has a reliability score in 2024? 🤔 They really gathered a lot of data over the years
Newer Toyotas and Lexuses = No more reliable cars anymore
How about the 10 best cars since 2021? Not everybody has that type of money to go out and spend with the way the economy is
Anything with B58 and S58 engine will be reliable
Dont they still use plastic for the oil filter housing and other parts that eventually break?
@ not sure haven’t heard anything about it . Why would Toyota use underline engine in Supra
Don’t agree with the BMW at all here
Everything he said was factually correct, including price

Consumer Reports rates modern BMWs extremely reliable based on survey data. My 2020 X3 has been flawless.
Times have changed.
True butt people can't accept it
Are you guys just regurgitating Consumer Reports?
LMFAO! 9:23 You're talking about the Honda HR-V and the video is showing a Subaru. Were you editing this video with your eyes closed?!
Mercedes w123
That’s a lot of Toyota in this list
No way am I getting a RAV4 my foot was run over by one of them 2:58

BWM own forever? 😂
With the b58 yes
Some generations
I drive past the Toyota dealer almost everyday. Now I have a reason to stop
i skipped this video because of bmw thumbnail
Ideal fails again with another BMW on the reliability list.
Look at that click bait..... you should be ashamed of yourself
bro needs new content ideas
Bmw???? Sure. Utter bs
Yes BMW...the b58 inline 6 and the b48 turbo 4 cylinder are solid. You're a numbnuts stuck in the past
