your books and moveis is why many of we urban indians began to watch fantasy movies and eventually fantasy books. harry potter was a craze for every indian fmaily in early 2000s besides bollywood. it made some of them shift to watch english movies further the book worm community in india was great those days. the moment it was in the bookshop,(which has now become an apple mac store) my friends would get it and read them for 10 hours. it was amazing then we would watch the movies and critic it as experts thank you creating an impact and spreading the influence of modern english fantasy beyond the UK

I love this talented woman! I used to read her books in Azerbaijani and learned English to be able to read her books!

My favorite thing abut Rowling is how she doesn't cower when people (notably ... THOSE people) shit on her. She comes back at them swinging.

I'll never read Potter due to the spiritual element behind the books but i genuinely enjoy hearing about her process, she's clearly gifted in many ways has a prophetic lens it's just twisted and she actually is really beautiful and has a beautiful soul. She's a very Interesting person, would be cool meeting her one day. when she talks about the lake and the shed in a previous clip that really stuck with me, i think there's such beautiful truth in that, 4 me its the lake that gets me writing, its the shed that brings readers into the lake with you. it structures the concepts and ideas so that they make sense. I connected with that imagery. sheesh i need an editor tho, ahahah! me and apostraphes.. honestly editing such a bore! hopefully sell enuf copies then reinvest with sum proper editing that's the goal baby! i think she's a Beautiful person though.. 🙂

What a great role model

I was never a Potter fan until fairly recently. I’ve always been a comic book nerd, and loved the rise of the MCU and the DCEU but for some strange reason I always felt like the Wizarding World was *too* geeky for me. What a stupid idea. The older I’ve gotten, I realize that was a stupid assumption to make. I give credit to my ex wife and my sister for introducing me to the Harry Potter universe, and now at age 41 I love it and appreciate it so much. JK has created an incredible and charming world. I cannot wait for the HBO Max series now, I really hope they get it right!

Just finished this book and currently on chapter 7 of The Running Grave, all I can say is this: the Ink Black Heart is the most intense, cathartic, and (in some ways) reflective creation of Robert Galbraith so far. It is exhausting at times, but the whole book has been an experience. Absolutely love it, Bwah!

Knowing early: People who were five to eight years old when I was six still remember me as a fantastic storyteller at six years old. They even remember the stories. I was always going to be a writer. I had a head injury as a child that doesn't seem to have affected me but worried my parents to death and my mother once came out into the yard where I was playing a highly imaginative story (by myself) and asked me if I knew I was playing or if I thought it was real. I assured her (I was five at the time) that it was a story (I was wearing a costume at the time for God's sake). So, I got my first real writer's job, on staff, at a weekly newspaper at 17 (graduated high school early) and never looked back. I was gratified when I revisited my old town and people remembered me (30 years later) as a writer for the paper (and they thought I was good). Have won small awards in poetry and screenplay and a whole wall full of journalism awards. Working on a play, now. Hope to be writing when I die.

Even at 42 years old, I still find Harry Potter to be a masterpiece. One of the greatest achievements of storytelling of all time
