The new Guerrilla 450 looks like a bunch of old, half-used tubes of Windsor & Newton oil paint wadded together into a vaguely motorcycle-shaped object.

It's always hard when you have a brand, Fender & Gibson Guitars have tried for decades to bring out new models and modernise but everyone wants a Stratocaster, Telecaster or Les Paul, just like from the 50's! I look forward to seeing the Guerilla at the bike show, and hopefully a Classic 650 👍

Not keen on the colourways and the blacked-out engine. I'm waiting for a more traditional look on this one... But then I think that'll be a 650 Classic!

I think there bikes are brilliant, I especially like there paint schemes and of course the wounderful sounds😊. Sorry you and your wife have been ill , that Covid is horrible. I haven’t been out on Bella for two weeks, I was advised by my GP to have the shingles jab now I’m 65 so I had it and have been quite ill , at one point I was taken to hospital with a heart problem so I’ve got to see my doctor again. I have to say the ambulance staff were fab but the staff at newcross hospital were awful, they got rid of me without even speaking to me so I’m confused? The thing is I’ve got have a second jab January? Like ech I will? Hope you and Ann both get well soon ❤❤

Tape up the rim good,clean up the sopkes good,ues a quality primer on the spokes,paint the spokes body color and clear coat.

Hi Ian, hope you are both feeling better, regards the Guerrilla i do like the look of it, RE are giving people plenty of choice and at an affordable price. Like yourself i started riding jn 78 first bike Yamaha DT 175 and also ride with my hand covering the clutch lever. Have a good holiday & I hope the weather is good to you. Cheers Baz

The joy of your videos Ian is in part because of Clementine, her relaxed engine note calms you and your viewer down even if people do not realise this fact ! Having ridden my Classic 350 for nearly 2 and a half years, it always amazes me that this bike has become my favourite bike in over 53 years of riding. I hope you and Anne make a full recovery from covid and Anne gets her diagnosis as soon as possible 😊

We don't have the RE450 in Canada yet, but it's coming soon. I've already put down a deposit, and I can't wait to get it out on the road. I will definitely be taking it off-road. I plan to make some modifications to make the off-roading a little better. Very excited.

Agree on all your points. Leds on mine spokes are poor I'm going to try burnishing then try hard lacquer. no bike is perfect. Do all my own servicing. Easy peasy and not worried about warranty 300 quid for 2 valves and an oil change is a joke Had my classic for 2 years. Does everything I want and is a huge improvement over my previous Kawasaki VN900. Why? Character and Soul, something very few bikes these days have. Speedo ? I've got a little condensation, but it still works fine. Will I replace it ? Possibly, but the kph ones are only 60 quid, so that'll do me.

Glad you're both on the mend Ian. Have to admit the new Himalayan doesn't flick any of my switches, much prefer the 1st generation however, from what I've seen and heard about the new Guerrilla it looks to be a cracker with its slimmed down tank and 17 inch wheels. It's also remarkably light along with the sensible seat height to. My dealer is expecting a showroom bike and a demonstrator anytime now and will ring me as soon as it hits the showroom floor. I understand there is also a boat load of them currently crossing the pond. Some of the colour schemes look odd - why have a black back wheel and a blue front one?🤔 However if they look as good in the flesh and they ride well I maybe persuaded to trade the Classic in for one. The Meteor Aurora is a keeper though. Look forward to your next vlog, enjoy your break.🙂👍 T

RE are like a pop group that had a few hits, it's hard to keep that magic going. Will they be an ABBA or a Joe Dolce - Shaddap ya face? I don't think many were impressed by the "Bullet 350" which was shameful IMO. Going forward will depend on the future of the ICE, luckily they have a huge domestic customer base. Looking forward to your ride on the G-450. All the best to you THREE 🐕

Speedy recovery to you and your better half, i agree regarding the 452 guerrilla i am very tempted to get one as an everyday bike hits the sweetspot regarding power handling weight and good build quality along with a strong dealer network 😀.

I'm getting seriously tempted with these Royal Enfields. As much as I love the look and sound of the Classic 350, the new Guerilla has thrown a spanner in the works! I love to ride my Tracer 900 but the more I think about it a smaller capacity bike could sit alongside it for those lazy rides round the lanes in my area. And the price of the Enfields is very reasonable and easy to justify...Some great footage there by the way.

If I had the bike, I loud put some handlebar guards on, angled bar risers and the bash plate. Very nice bike, thinking about it. Wish you happy recovery from 'the thing'

Good to know you're both getting better, if you're out and about now you should be fine by next Sunday. Hi what a great video one of the best reviews of a motorcycle I’ve seen and listened too in a long long while and based on this it has put the shotgun on top of my list it was between triumph speed twin 1200 and T120 but they are double the price and as this is more for a winter hack other than when it’s icy or the salt has gone down it will stay in the garage I ride a triumph rocket gt3 and I only take that out when it’s dry and sunny that’s my baby a big one at that so shotgun it is either in the green or the is it white/grey I’ll have to decide that but anyway great video take care ride safe mate bye for now 👋

Hi Ian, regarding the Guerrilla I don't closely follow RE channels in particular so I haven't heard what negative things are being said about the bike ( It seems a winner too me) What are people complaining about specifically ? ... Thanks Dave.

G'day Ian, you've both been doing it a bit tough of late, so I hope that the upcoming trip is beneficial for the pair of you. The Guerrilla isn't really my style of bike, so I'll stick with my trusty Guzzi 750 Breva, even if it is a bit heavier. 👍

Good to see you both out and about. I agree with you on the Royal Enfield front. If they keep churning out the same bixe with air cooled engines the Euro emissions will no doubt catch up with them for a start. The Guerrilla is more of an upgrade of a Hunter style bike than a Scram to me.

Judging by the several Enfield riders I view on UA-cam the natural habitat for these narrow country lanes (I write that just as you mentioned the Facebook group). Also my sort of road but my ADV350 has more horses and I rarely open throttle very far (which makes me tempted for something lighter and less powerful) Your caravan site looks very close to Martin Trafford Moorland Rider with his Himalayan

Hope you both are feeling much better soon Ian. I’m not a fan of the new Guerrilla 450 but not because I think they should stick to retro bikes. On the contrary, innovation is the driving force to any company that wants to stay in business. It just that there’s something about the style of the bike that leaves me cold. I might think differently once I’ve seen it up close though. 👍

You are of course completely correct in what you say about the Enfield brand not standing still this new Gorilla is no exception a great looking bike and seems to be going down very well with those who are supposed to know .Alas I feel that both BSA and Norton seem to have stood still with not much happening at all , I fear if this does not change they are likely to disappear quite quickly especially with the Chinese bringing out ever more new and updated models at very competitive prices. These I know are not popular with many but neither were the Japanese bikes way back when and look what happened there only my opinion 😁great watch cheers👌👍
