This one's a bit different Ian good watch though ,you have to wonder at these people who sit and decide where and what to do with these speed limits sometimes .😉👍
Morning Ian, makes a change to be out riding in a group, something we used to do regularly but not so often nowadays, either we prefer to do things on our own or our riding buddies live much further away nowadays, shame the roads were wet but sometimes you just have to go and make the best of it especially when you’ve got good company, all the best buddy 👍
Thanks Mike, I used to ride in large groups, but after a serious accident involving one of the group, I stopped. Prefer riding on my own nowadays, but also occasionally with a couple or so. These guys aren't egotistical so feel quite safe with them 🤣
Morning Ian sorry i watched it yesterday and the phone rang took my mind off leaving a comment. It was a very nice meet up the ride well that was something else I really don’t know what happened to the route we took I could not get sent to the satnav from my phone my error hands up planned it wrong. 👍🏍️😎
It didn't really matter though Derek, it was a great day, great company and banter. Ann thoroughly enjoyed the cakes (being gluten free I unfortunately didn't get to taste them 😪). Already looking forward to next year. Hopefully a bit earlier, and how about the Peak District ?
Morning Ian, what a shame the weather was poor for your meet with the rest of the gang, you wait all year for a planned outing and the weather is pants, hope you enjoyed your brew. Look forward to the next installment 👍
Thanks for part two. Roads looked very slipery? No Bee line fitted. I guess you didnt need it on the day, as you said in your intro not sure where we are going? Managed 70 miles today on Kawasaki Ninja , Bala circular .Needed to try out my heated grips. bloody lovely. Until the next time, ride safe. Bfn Mike Sunny Wales
Morning Ian, you certainly had some bumby sections of road 😂, over here we dont know how lucky we are, we're getting those 20mph or in our case 30kph restrictions every where, but our speed is dropped down gradually (80, 70, 50, 30) that one you hit with the give way was boardering on dangerous!! Shame you got such wet weather, we should do a french connection one oh la la, take care....... Colin 😊
Thanks Colin, yes as you say, bordering on dangerous. No warnings for it either. As I keep saying, things like this, or roadwork diversions without any signage…..it’s ok if you’re local, but you are buggered if you are just visiting.🤬. The uk road network is knackered. In the next video, there is a really nasty pothole mid corner on a tight bend…could easily have someone off. Maybe reducing the speeds to 20mph, is easier than actually maintaining the roads 🤔 Cheers
Nice steady (running in) ride but shame about the weather and the sh***y roads. Listening to you mention the crap you've picked up from the wet roads, I spent this morning giving mine a fairly thorough clean in those areas. I removed the fender extender, sump guard, chain guard and rear hugger. Glad I removed the hugger, the swing arm cross brace was caked in muck, almost impossible to get to with the hugger in place. Anyway, it's all nice and clean now and I put copper slip grease on all the fastener threads 👍 I don't know if yours does the same but any mucky water collected under the front fender seems to run down through the gap between the fender and extender leaving horrible streaks of muddy water on the outside of the extender 👎 I've fitted a strip of foam draught excluder between the fender and extender (a gasket in effect) so it'll be interesting to see if that makes any difference. Another great Guerrilla video, despite the weather! Cheers, Phil (Somerset)
Ow-do Phil. Sounds like some good advice there. We are back down in Nantwich, staying with mum for a week. Scorpio hasn’t left the van since he went in there all mucky last week, so needs to come out and have a good clean. To be honest, I haven’t ridden enough in shitty weather to see how bad he gets, but no doubt that will be rectified 😂. Will look at where are the worst crap catchers when I give him a bath. Next vid out tomorrow, part two ! Thanks, as always 👍
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Don't think I've ever owned a bike that stays clean in the wet ........ the price we pay for good looking but not very practical machines 😊 But, like you Ian, I try and ride in the dry to avoid the problem ....... have to say, that's been a bit of a challenge this year 🤔 Anyway, I'm all ready and waiting for your next video ....... keep em coming! 👍
I always said that I wasn’t going to be too “precious” about Scorpio. He will be kept clean, but will be used in all weathers, so will be dirty occasionally 😂
I actually wonder how many accidents have occurred on that ridiculous entry into Bampton ? 60mph to 20mph then immediately onto a traffic calming thing 🤬
I'm stopping the video just under half way through, I need to get out for a walk and my sense of frustration is growing as the video progresses, such a missed oppertunity for whoever came up with the route to have not put a bit of effort in and made something far more interesting with all the other roads in the area, I guess they had their reasons for such a bland route. I used to go to Notgrove around 20 years ago to attend the Monkey bike runs in the area, they all camped else where but I always preferred to get away at night for a decent nights sleep. After the weekend I'd spend another week there expoloring all the lanes, must go the walk is beckoning and it is bloody raining out there.
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Nice to see a bit of sun at the end, it makes such a difference to how it makes you feel about an area. The walk was a bit soggy thanks, it's also very mild for the time of year.
What a strange question……🤔 Absolutely not…..we are just a group of like minded individuals, who were chatting away on UA-cam, then decided to meet in person. Last year it was at the Super Sausage cafe near Towcester. This year Bourton on the Water. Many other Moto vloggers do exactly the same.
Facetious question. Like minded groups amongst like minded groups is not about fame or being 'special'. You don't need to feel threatened or inferior, just get on with your life.
Those road look in so much better condition than ours in Lancashire, posh area so to be expected.
Bloody hell Ian, they were rough as …. 😂. The next vid is out tomorrow, a really nasty hole mid tight corner, would definitely have you off if hit 🤬
Looks are obviously deceiving they looked OK on your video.
Great day out with the fellas! Thanks for brining me along.😊
Glad you enjoyed it, part two will be out tomorrow 👍
LAVLY! We han't been that way on, in 20 odd years, doesn't appear to have changed much, apart from the 20 speed limit, Cheers, from the sunshine crew!
Hi gang. We have been to Bourton on the Water before, but not done these roads. Nice area, silly speed limits everywhere. Cheers
Nothing quite like a 50, 20 STOP..! To keep you on your toes. Still a smashing ride though. 👍
Definitely bordering on daft traffic management that one, probably designed by a spotty teenager 😉😂

Afternoon Ian 😂 the big house is Blenheim Palace
It was a shame that it was wet, but at least it wasn't snowing or icey 👍
Fluer De Lys Bampton, what a great cafe 😊
Wasn’t it called Lynwood & Co.
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Have I got it wrong 🤔

The way they plan the speed restrictions is becoming bloody dangerous and fuel inefficient.

20mph is pathetic.

😊😅😂 it's a good way of slowing the youngsters down 👍
