Hi ya fella. It's great to hear your enthusiasm for Scorpio during your vids. You wont be getting 85mpg when Scorpio is run in; having said that, fuel consumption will still be good though but. A brill video, luv the energy of the vid and the beautiful scenery too. Looking forward to your next bit of content; top man Ian. Take care out there bud.
Thanks Neil, I will do my best to get as low an mpg as I can 😂. Although I have another 3 vids (well 4 actually, but two will be released together) waiting in the wings, I was hoping to get a video out soon, dedicated to my dad who passed away last Wednesday 😢. It will cock things up a bit, continuity wise, but it’s something I want to do for me, as much as for anyone else. Cheers
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Aw man; I'm so sorry about your dad. Never mind about continuity Ian, your dad comes first and I look forward to watching the video. Losing a parent really sucks. I lost both of my parents within seven months of each other. So make sure you do what you want to do; believe me it will help further down the line. If you find you need to take a break from the channel, that's cool too; we'll all be here, waiting for you when you come back. Take care my friend.
Thanks Neil. Keeping busy helps, and I am really needing to get out on Scorpio, as he has just had first service…..but there is quite a lot to do here at the moment. Mum isn’t up to it, so obviously my brother and I are on the case. Mind you, we can’t do anything really until we receive the certificate, and the powers that be are dragging their feet as usual. 🙄😢
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Sounds like you guys have a support network, which is good. I found it like being in limbo till after the funeral and you have to cope as best you can. Just take your time bud. Thinking of you all.
Another bimble around those roads near Devils Bridge. I always thought I'd travelled most of them in my time but you've showed me different,. Now I've got to try and remember some of them for future reference.
Well what a coincidence I was thinking of my dad today, can remember rushing around to show him my new Bonneville in 2007, never be able to show him the Guerilla, I bet you will be glad to have the extra revs to play with
When I took the Yellow Guerrilla out on demo, I called in at my parents to show dad, he was pleased to see it. It was nice to see him smile. Yes, can’t wait to give Scorpio the beans 😎 Cheers
Morning Ian, better late than never I suppose. Grand ride back this way. We followed the same lanes last Thursday from a couple of stunning days in Keswick (via Orton and Tebay), trouble is, we were in the sodding van! Barbon Hill Climb?....... I'm thinking it'd be a great exercise for Daisy, if I could just find a WILLING passenger to sit in the chair?🤔😁
😂Don’t look at me Martin, I need to be in charge of my own destiny 😂 I think there are some UA-cam vids on Barbon hill Climbs, both car and bike. It is quite a short run, but makes for an interesting day out. Cheers
@martintraffordmoorlandbike7121 it’s bloody brilliant once you get into it Martin. I have just bought a new laptop, which has all the do-da’s required to run it. The interface looks daunting, but honestly, just keep at it, and watch the tutorials. It will just click 👌 Meanwhile, if you need specifics, just email me, and I will try to help.
Well Ian and I am blaming you, have just got back from Kings of Oxford and done a deal, part exchanging my 2007 Triumph Bonneville for a Playa Black Guerilla delivery in November, thankyou for all of your positive reviews and rides, please keep up those brilliant videos.
😂 oops, sorry Glynn 😳😂. Please keep in touch, and let me know how you get on. Scorpio had his first service today, though I haven’t had chance to ride him. Hoping to get out on Monday, to do a ride in memory of my dad…..just talking about him really, I guess for my benefit really 👍
Hi, thanks for the comment. Shhhh, saying things like that will upset many people 🫣😂 . A liquid cooled revvy single is really not everyone’s cup of tea. Having said that, in true RE style, I can see them using the Sherpa engine in other guises, it’s a damn good unit 👍

Afternoon Ian , nice ride, must say it does my head in too when you're waiting to pull out of a car park or junction, and a driver is dawdling along like that and you're not sure what they're thinking? Why don't they just flash their lights to let you out ? 🙄🤷♂️
Morning Ian, a cracking days ride, it was tedious running in the 350 and that encourages you to ride sedately 😂 must be so much harder on scorpio 😂 mind you, you won’t be getting 85 mpg out of it when you can let the naughty boy loose 😂 all the best buddy 👍
Morning Ian, another enjoyable video, I can tell you are itching to get Scorpio run in, and twist that throttle back a bit more 😂, looking forward to the next one 👍
Thanks Malcom. Another few vids to go before you get to see Scorpio being let off the leash a bit. (In real time, service being done tomorrow 18th Oct). Cheers
Ah that's great news, you'll be blasting round the lakes, weather and traffic permitting, we had a ride planned for the weekend, but the weather down here (Bedfordshire) is looking a bit poor, anyway hope you get out on Scorpio over the weekend 👍
@malcolmtaylor3231 hopefully Monday. I have something special I need to do, it will throw everything out of sink, but it’s important that I do it. Can’t say anymore for the time being. Cheers
So Ian, just to be clear, do you like the Guerrilla? 😁 First service day tomorrow (for you) YIPPEE!!! You'll be able to relax into the ride more after tomorrow with a new ceiling of 6000 rpm to play with. Your mpg sounds about the same as mine ....... economy of a moped!! Flippin brilliant 😁👍Cheers, Phil
Hi Phil, yes I think the Guerrilla is ok (😂). Looking forward to just “getting on with enjoying the ride” rather than constantly looking at the revs, and giving myself a bollocking 😂. Will be interesting to see how low I can get the mpg 😉
I’ve done 1,240 miles on mine so just about run in but no doubt things will losses up further as the miles mount. Brilliant bike as you say Ian. I am consistently getting 90 mpg riding a mixture of fast A roads, B roads and country lanes down here in Sussex. Outstanding economy I would say and negates any worries of the relatively small 11 + litre tank size😊
@martinstubbs6382 excellent to hear this Martin. First service on mine tomorrow, though there will still be a few vids coming out with me still moaning about running in 😂. Nice to hear about the mpg you are getting too, but we will see how many I can bring it down to 😉😎 Cheers

@paulsilson2148 yes, I remember that back in the day too. Some manufacturers specify different things I guess.
@ianhughesroyalenfield Run in oil is there to do it's job but once dropped for the good stuff bike runs better.
