    Is it necessary to Walk the 6k to 10k Steps in one Go ? What does the study says? Cause I Walk with my daughter often. And sometimes she cant Walk more than 20 Minuten with me. So in the evening I Walk for my own. Questions is: do I need to Walk the steps again or Only the Rest what is missing ?

    • @gotse83
      @gotse83 День тому

      You don't need to walk all 6k to 10k steps in one go! Studies show that it's the total daily steps that matter most, not whether you take them all at once. Splitting up your steps throughout the day, like walking with your daughter and then finishing the rest on your own, is perfectly fine and still beneficial for your health. In fact, shorter, more frequent walks can be just as effective as one long walk, especially for overall cardiovascular health and staying active throughout the day. So keep enjoying those walks with your daughter, and just finish the remaining steps later if you want to hit your goal!

      You're right, I didn't make an elbow, that's wrong in the description, I'll correct it. I only do this routine because I think it really helps when it comes to weight loss and plus I love mixing up my workouts. I don't want to stick to just one program, it gets boring after a while.

    Nature walks (one of the most accessible forms of ecotherapy) are seriously underrated. It's no mistake that basically every blue zone community has these embedded into their lifestyle!

    • @gotse83
      @gotse83 2 дні тому

      Absolutely agree! Nature walks are such a simple yet powerful way to recharge mentally and physically. It's amazing how something so accessible can have such a profound impact on well-being, and you're spot on about the connection to blue zones. People in these communities live longer, healthier lives, and prioritizing time outdoors is definitely part of that equation. We could all benefit from taking a page out of their book and making nature a regular part of our routine!

  • @John_winston
    @John_winston 2 дні тому

    Hey i was just wondering what benefit i got if i walk for around 5 hours ? Every single day, I'm serious

    • @gotse83
      @gotse83 2 дні тому

      For most people, walking 1-2 hours per day is a safer, more sustainable target. Walking longer than that can be done occasionally if it’s something you enjoy, but I generally don’t recommend five hours every single day due to the risk of physical burnout and potential injury. Always listen to your body and consider varying your exercise routine to allow for rest and recovery. If you’re already conditioned to this level of activity and enjoy it, you may experience enhanced physical endurance, improved mood, and better cardiovascular health. Long walks can also be a powerful way to clear the mind. Walking five hours daily could lead to joint stress (especially on knees and ankles), muscle fatigue, and overuse injuries over time, especially without adequate rest days.

    • @John_winston
      @John_winston 2 дні тому

      @gotse83 ah well, thing is sir. I've read that one of the training of ancient Roman legionnaire was 5 hours walk for 4 months and I've been doing this roman walk around 2 months while also doing workout too. I appreciate your comment sir, it's just that only 2 months more.....

    • @gotse83
      @gotse83 2 дні тому

      Thank you for sharing your approach! It’s really impressive that you're taking inspiration from the training of ancient Roman legionnaires. It sounds like you've been very dedicated to this "Roman walk" for the past two months, and it's great that you’re combining it with other workouts, too. Two more months could certainly bring benefits in terms of endurance and mental toughness-both things those legionnaires were known for! Just make sure to keep an eye on how your body feels, especially with such an intense routine. Even the Romans took rest days now and then to avoid injury and stay battle-ready. Best of luck on your journey, and don’t hesitate to make adjustments if needed!

    Today I hit 6000 steps did 20 knee push up, 30 inverted row and 10 squats. It was tiring but I will make sure to increase the numbers. You lost 2.5 kilos in 2 week that's great. Yes, you will lose 12 kg as well as I lets keep moving forward.

      Well done my friend. The first two weeks you always loose more. FOr me it will be perfect if i loose something between 0.5 and 1 kg. Everything more than that means that you are losing muscle mass which i dont want.

    This 10-minute challenge was intense! Have you tried it yet? Let me know how many push-ups and burpees you managed to complete in 10 minutes, or if you were able to finish the full 100 and 50! Any tips for getting through those last reps? Drop them below!

      You’re absolutely right, those tough reps really are where the magic happens! It’s all about pushing to that edge and embracing the challenge. I'm glad the humility in the struggle resonates because that's what makes us stronger, both physically and mentally. Thanks for the support, and I’ll definitely keep pushing forward!

    I can certainly resonate with your sentiment today. I have lacked motivation recently and have started to put together some of the strategies I use to keep consistent with my training. I am editing the video now. You are still crushing it. It doesn’t have to be perfect every day, you just need to show up. Another session completed, well done. 👍🏻💪🏼🏃🏽‍♂️

      Unfortunately, there are days like that. Sometimes we go out there and overperform, but sometimes it's really difficult. At the end of the days we are only humans.
