I am a game designer who also dabbles in art when I need to. This is an infected Skeleton that I made for our game Project Grove.

Great tutorial! I was wondering if there's a way to make the cloud layers as full on visible RGB projections that act sort of like a moving wallpaper. Mine are sadly just white blobs without any of the colour/texture that I painted in PS. Any advice would be highly appreciated!
How can I hide the mesh until I press my menu button? I work on transferring my inventory to a method very similar to this but struggle with setting it up correctly so the whole mesh+widget only shows when I want it to. Help would be much appreciated! :D
why are my changes not taking place when i modify the material instance? My textures also don't show when i imported them to replace the default ones.
Did you ever figure out how to fix the glowiness of the text?

I am working for a similar system for the game I am developing. (Item the player holds that acts as the 3D UI for objectives, map, flashlight, etc. ) Do you think this same process you used would work in UE5?

For anyone wondering how to do the sky sphere texture in gimp, do Layer>Transform>Offset. Then instead of the measurement being px, select "%", then type 50 in the X and press OK.
