I’m gonna be totally objective here, but that is difficult because I like Joel more. Anyways, here it goes. In the first kill, I notice Joel is more “raw” with the throat punch while Abby is more of “quick and precise” with the punch. Not surprising because Joel is older. The second kill I saw was that it required two chargeups for both. Abby charged up her slamming hit which was impressive. Joel charged up his slamming hit too, and it was pointed forward, not to the ground. And also the guy went sliding to the wall. Could’ve slid farther if the wall wasn’t there. The third kill was questionable. Abby’s kill didn’t seem that detrimental. It didn’t have that conviction or vigor. The kick made it so much weaker because the kick seemed slow and the blood instantly appearing on the wall didn’t seem that genuine. Joel’s third kill was better though. Again, being objective. He didn’t give him space at all to make him wonder what was even happening. Straight to the wall. Now I know, it sounds biased, but it is true. Joel fights faster than Abby and doesn’t give em time to really think. With Abby’s punches, you notice a little pause after every punch. With Joel, it has somewhat of that same pause, but not that big of a pause. Just fast as hell. I can’t explain it, but you know where I’m coming from. Anyways, moving on. The fourth kills were very different in their own way. One choked out and one headbutt. The choke out was quick. Joel can’t do that. It’s not really a face to face combat scenario though because she took her from the back, so I won’t really count it. The headbutt seems VERY detrimental though. The speed and camera shake made it much more powerful and the way it seems like he’s choking on the ground, seeming like his brain didn’t even comprehend or know what even happened, somewhat explaining why his hands are there. A nerve response. Think of it as that reflex of gently tapping your knee in a specific spot and it moving a bit. Same like that, but death (okay it didn’t make sense im sorry but I tried my best.) The last kill by Abby. That was detrimental and brutal. Tackling a grown man to the ground and caving his face in like what Kratos did to Hercules. Not punching or striking at all, but seemed like she was hammering him (pause) I think Joel takes strength and raw power, while Abby takes precision and speed in some things. It’s because of Joel sending someone across the room sliding while Abby hit the throat punch.

Honestly this was a major thing the game was missing. Mimir needed to tell more stories! 2018 was SO impactful hearing Mimir relay the myths of Thor, Odin, and the Giants. I would've loved to hear Mimir tell the story Heimdall's parentage, Heimdall's children, more tales about Sif, and maybe even a few about Loki as Atreus forged his own identity. This arc really needed a third game frankly to fully flesh this all out. I'm happy with the game we have though, it just leaves the heart yearning for more. Which in the end, is a good thing.

I think the horn being destroyed would mean that the actual events of ragnarok would change. Odin did not want to stop raganrok, he wanted to subvert or win it. So, some events were supposed to happen, he merely had to prepare in advance for it like guarding the wall, making those machines that destroy towers or stop ragnarok beast.
