Sir we used to open US made FA parts coated with cosmoline. We were taught to brush the metal parts while these were soaked in gasoline. Afterwards we would rinse these with soap and tap water. Then we would wipe them dry. The next step would be to lightly lubricate the parts with light oil. Finally, we would assemble the FAs. It is quite a messy process , also a bit dangerous since some of my buddies were smoking cigarettes and if you fail to lightlly oil the parts, they may eventually rust.

What is the point of a permit to carry if it can not be on your person? Even bags specific to gun carry, drawing is slower and more cumbersome. Let's not forget it's easier to get snatched or strong armed from you. The more I try to understand Philippine gun laws the less faith I have in humanity for the archipelago (kidding, not kidding).
