Hey everyone, I'd be grateful it if you could like this post in PRL's facebook page. facebook.com/philippinericochetline/posts/pfbid027mpyBUBzrMgJzH5MS4ymuzqHu3Xxz9wv46h6xUHBxqakeBZV35CrC7R8yuJR8WZfl
Yes they do. Norinco is actually quite a survivor here and a successful one. They sell some of the cheapest 5.56mm (Type 97) and 7.62 (Type 56) rifles around, along with some pistols. Here, they are all affordable (a few are full autos), and they don't go away because of sanctions and geopolitics. Norinco just keeps selling.
Thanks for the review, I personally like the wood silhouette or a polymer Monte Carlo style stock. I think your friend could have achieved better accuracy if he put the same money and effort on a different platform. Sorry but the "bubba'd" SKS or AKs don't get much love these days state side.
accuracy and the 7.62 x 39 caliber doesnt belong in one sentence. If I did not convert this using a tapco stock then putting a solid scope mount wont be possible. Putting a solid scope mount on a stock wooden sks will mean loading from the top which is not possible because the scope will be blocking it.
@JOSERIZALADVENTURES when I say different platform I mean different firearm. There are better starting points chambered in 7.62x39 if you're chasing accuracy. Howa mini action, Ruger American, CZ 527, ARs chambered in 7.62, just to name a few.

Is Norinco still selling rifles in the Philippines?
Kinda hate how they only sell handguns here, I'd appreciate some centerbore rifles from them too

You could still find them here in the US. Unfortunately they’re asking an arm & a leg for one.
I know, but they would be much MORE EXPENSIVE here in the Philippines. Sadly.
@@philippinericochetline814 they average lately for a Norinco $900, for a Yugo $800. Back in the days they used to be $100 to $125.
@@philippinericochetline814 not to mention these prices are for used. Not the ones that that just came in wrapped in cosmoline & unissued.
available ba ito dito pinas sir
I haven't seen one for sale locally. Sadly.
Good review, how much this type of gun?
In the 90s used to be $99
50k in the PH way back inthe 1990s.
bought this rifle 14 tears ago for $150
Here in the Philippines, it might be 150 BLUE EAGLES.
Classic Bubba build.
It shoots very well!
