Wow, I don't even think Hi-point pistols can go lower in price compared to that. I'd place more faith in the reliability of the Norinco purely because it's based on the Tokarev design. I know your criteria for this video is the absolute bottom barrel, cheapest pistol but in terms of a cheap yet reliable pistol with some aftermarket support there are others better suited; Norinco 1911 (assorted calibers), Star model B, Taurus PT92 just to name a few off hand. As always great video. I enjoy your talking points and hopefully someday you can add range footage to your videos.
The PT92 had escalated in price in the past couple of years is now at parity with Glock pricing. On the other hand, its PT100 fraternal twin had retained the old price as per the last DSAS though I believe that stocks had ran out.
@keianpena9635 during break in, it was, not gonna lie. But when it wore down, it became reliable. I still have a few old videos of it uploaded. Not the most comfortable pistol to shoot but it goes bang when i need it. Disclaimer: i carry a gen4 g19 with tac light, nowadays. Fun fact, the tok is arguably the longest serving pistol still used in conflict today.
@arizenzei seems like a fun gun to own just to have some kind of commiebloc firearm for collection sake. Would make an interesting piece to talk about over the gazillion 1911 variants we have 🙃 10k sounds like a steal too considering armscors budget wheelguns are actually more expensive that this. Ehhh we got a 70s ppk its heavy, snappy, and hard to get a grip with everything being smoother than a babies bum. i feel like the TT cant be worse than that overhyped garbage Was sourcing magazines for this a headache?
@keianpena9635 oh yes! Gun show is your friend. It does come with an extra mag already. So you have two, out of the box. Just be aware there are two types of magazines. One larger, for the 201. And smaller one, for the 213. Be sure to get the one for your model. The 201 has a modified tok mag to fit the 9mm. The 213 has a modified tok mag well to fit the proprietary 9mm mag.
I was looking around for the cheapest firearm to just fill the 2nd slot of my type 1 license. I love this tokarev and ive known that theyre the cheapest of the Norinco line but it was not in the website of this particular gun store. So I was planning to get the Armscor m206 snubby come gun show time. But I happened to see a video from the same gunstore showing the Catma single shot 12guage and I've always wanted one. Its the best power to price pewpew out there at 10k. Im aware of thise 13k 5shot pistol grip turkish shotguns but i like this better. More prepper ang dating. Federal Guns.
Like the original Tula Tokarev 33, the Norinco Type 54 is short-recoil operated/locked breech and is not a straight blowback design. It does not use a fixed barrel. You may be mistaking it for the Pistolet Makarova.
Norinco's 9mm is ugly and the design is outdated, compared to other countries products that are attractive and beautiful and they even have stainless guns made unlike in the Philippines just picked up from a junk shop of iron that rusts easily . Poor Quality!
Your comment went from dissing norincos to hating on philippine made firearms? Didnt they teach you sentence composition and grammar syntax when you were in school?

@@philippinericochetline814 - there is the Arsenal Strike One which is used by the Russian Special Forces but it is not as affordable 😆
@philippinericochetline814 wouldn't mind owning a mak in 9x18. 🙂
😂 i hope to see more firearms on the Hampas Lupa tier. Humor aside, this is very valuable information
We need a squatter tier too. 😔
@@GG-py9fe i think the only firearms that would qualify for this tier would be sumpaks of the slam fire variety
That's true. I saw and held one at the gun show in April this year. I was tempted to buy one.
the Hampas Lupa tier got me 😂 , really appreciate your video man 👍
Thanks for sharing sir watching now about sa pistol 9mm
looks like a zastava m70a
Wow! Cheaper than HiPoint!
Pwede pang home defense ng mga low on budget. Di lang pang carry kasi mas mahal pa ang PTC. 😅
@ - Halos same price lang ng firearm registration 🤣

It looks like tokarev all metals? Less recoil. Military surplus battle tested

Sir do you know any 10mm PCC available here in PH?
Yn lng, kmahal din singil nila s registration. 😂
That recoil is nasty since it is a fixed barrel design, but hey, if your life needs defending, this pistol will suffice.

Hahaha ak that is 5.56x45mm and a Tokerev pistol now you have a Soviet / communist china load out 😂😂😂
