the boss has a better innate stereo seperation which gives it more presence and character. i don't own either of these but i've been listening to reviews with good headphones. the global hi cut on the boss is a critical setting

Do you find that the amps sound better with the solo switch on? I have an AC 30, and it sound like the real thing with it on, not so much with it off

I played one about a week ago for the first time. I’m not gonna lie, the quality and workmanship was amazing for an Epiphone and it sounded really good too (especially that neck pickup, oof!) but sadly it just wasn’t for me. I wasn’t a fan of how it felt. At least I tried it though and now I know. It’s like an SG, either you love it or hate it. There’s no in between.

There no way you can’t tell on this particular video that the Boss sounds more natural and better than the HX Stomp.

I just bought an SE 24-08 and i feel the same way. It feels and sounds amazing for this price range. Great buy!

I bought my first Schecter 20 years ago. The C-1 Elite. I loved Schecters and I think I will always play them.

I'm no where near this skill level but I'm really wanting the boss gx10 but everyone keeps recommending the ToneX pedal but I'm really into the sounds this has plus the on the fly tweaks with a touch screen would be nice. Great song and your an incredible player!

I have the Schecter with SSS pickups in atomic orange. I think it’s awesome. I never had a problem with the volume knob. I guess I got lucky.

I've heard that this guitar does have a nice coil split tone. Most the guitars with coil split humbuckers I've used sound thin and weak and sound nothing like a strat or tele. Going shopping for this model today.

I had one and used it as a trade to get a PRS CE Dustie Waring model. (AWESOME GUITAR. The Mojotone PUPS are incredible) I love the CE, but I've wanted to get another SE DGT. Found a great deal on one and it's on the way.

i'm a total techophobe , have been in 2 minds as to get this , the Headrush core and poss the Ampero stage as they look the easiest to operate and all seem to sound decent

Great demo and explanation of the tones on the guitar . One of the features of a lot of PRS guitars are the coil split giving you a usuable tone . I’ve got a Les Paul Classic and the splits on that are just ok although you can get the Greeny tone if you want ( imho) . I’ve only briefly played the DGTSE and found the pickups a bit dark but maybe needed to try the coil split and rolling off the volume . When I played the PRS I also tried a Revstar with P90s and found it easier to get a few different sounds from bright cutting to gutsy -both guitars are similar in price so a close call !!
