Downloaded your three patches on boss tone exchange. They seemed way louder than the gain and level would warrant. But the worst part was that my gx100 kept freezing up! I had to unplug the unit to get it to turn off. I ended up deleting the 3 patches and did a factory reset and now it is working perfectly. I ran the unit straight into the front of a peavey classic 50 with the master volume turned down low but still the volume level was crazy loud. Very strange.
Hey Andy just found your channel, great video, thank you. I also have the origins 50, used it with the gx 100 4cm, have you tried that? Have you considered frfr or an alternative?
@@garywaddell6309 hey dude thanks! Yeah at the moment my Marshall is just for decoration as I had it fixed quite a few times but it kept having issues. I use FRFR with the GX
Very nice, thanks. Any views on EQ? You don’t seem to have one in your chain, didn’t you feel the need for one. What about the global EQ how have you set it up.
I will try this preset on my gx10 hopefully to get that clear drive tone Did you adjust the global eq? Can you tell also for the accuracy of tone And also what it i connect it into input of real amp
@@PinoyListener hey dude, I use studio speakers so I’m going straight into a focusrite. In this video, no I didn’t adjust the global EQ. Just as is out of the box 🙌🏼
@ i already used your preset! I adjusted the eq because its a little harsh for me.. your tone is so good thats what im looking for!! I love the gain stacking twin amp Distortion and clean od! Nice crunch tone! Thank you man! I used it on my gx10 hopefully you can set it to gx10 nexttime for the controls and assigns thank you What if i connect this on input real amp? What do i need to turn of or adjust? For the same tone or consistent tone?
@ I’m glad you like it dude! I’m not sure about going into the front of an amp because I’ve never done it. I would assume that you’d need to turn off your amp blocks. If you’re going into an amp then you’re already ready using a speaker inside an amp casing
Thanks man! Sorry about that - I’m not sure why. You can search for it on the tone exchange site. Go on “popular” this live set is the one called “Andy David Classy Liveset”
Hey man, great tones. Just wanna know your honest opinions between fender player and nick johnston. I will buy one of them. I really love the fender brand because of its legacy. But I think schecter is better because so many people have an opinion in that way. I watched all of your videos. Comparison videos too, but I really wanted to ask this question to you individually. Thanks in advance, waiting for your reply. Great channel, great playing, keep going man
Thanks so much bro! That means a lot! It’s a hard question because ultimately it comes down to preference… but I’d say the best way to sum it up is that the Schecter is probably a better choice for a more modern player. Also, I find it easier to play faster lines on the Schecter.
Andy you are a great player and your vibrato is sick. Keep up the good work!
Thanks man!
I just bought mine this past Saturday. I used your other video but this is amazing! Thank you!
Thanks dude! I’m glad you like it! Did the link for the tone share work?
@@andydavid9 haven’t tried it yet. Left my cable somewhere lace else. But hopefully🤞
Beautiful tone!
Thanks for helping bro!
Hugs from Brazil, Rio de Janeiro! 🔥
Thanks dude! 🤘🏼
I’m just finding your channel and this video but if you’re still wondering, it’s the Boss DA-2 Adaptive Distortion model 😂
Great job! Thank you. I will share my free tones soon as I've finished tweaking.
Finally someone who knows how to tone a Boss GX100.
@@AlexandreLaurentino1 haha thanks man! Check out my recent GX video for some more fresh tones from the recent firmware update

Thanks for sharing your findings. Have you used it live? If so, how do you run it to FOH?

sounds great . How does it sounds live through p.a. / monitor ? Do you use it like that ( live ) ?
Thanks! Will vary slightly depending on what speakers you’re going through, so might need some minor tweaking
Hi Andy, I can't find your set list on Central Tone. Why?
Hey dude, that’s the first I’ve heard. Someone told me they downloaded it just the other week. I haven’t taken it off
If you type in Andy David in the search bar my download should come up

No! GX-100 patches do NOT work on GT-1000 platforms. Totally different architectures.
