well....i think its not a joke...and its for real.... I have felt exctly the same many times..... my strats re-tune.. or at least the strings keeps a balance all togheter .... maybe is the system trem with the 3 springs int he back that keeps the tension in all the strings "as a set"
@miguelangelvacaheredia8230 that sounds like your ears adjusting, sort of like how none of us hears just intonation as out of tune, even though it technically is, because most music we listen to is in just intonation. The audience notices when the tuning is more off than usual.
Another plus to owning a Strat (teles too) is that it’s one of, if not, the most widely modded guitar platforms so the availability of parts is seemingly limitless. Once you find a neck and body you like, then just about every other part of the guitar can be readily swapped, modded, etc. to your liking if that’s something you’re interested in
A strat is a certain sound. They don’t lend themselves well if you don’t have a lot of money for lots of guitars for different things. Get a Telecaster. All of the arguments made here can be made for the tele, but they are even more reliable, and way more versatile for different genres. The strat has its tone, and it will always be that way. That’s the main reason why you should or shouldn’t buy one !
Play for awhile before tuning, sometimes it just seems to re tune itself..a discovery I made to my delight.
😂
