I have been looking into the Boss X-100. I would use the built-in pedal for the volume and run my own wah through the board. I am not sold on the HX Stomps, mainly becuase I have a Firehawk FX and Line 6 abandoned it quickly. I don't want to get stuck, again.
Hx stomp was released 6 years ago and people and companies still put “hx stomp killer” when they release new products on their ads til these days. I even doubt quad cortex beat it in terms of versatility. Just my opinion tho.
I’ve got a video coming out this week of a tone comparison between the two. But to answer your question, yes there’s a difference in feel. The line 6 is more realistic to me. Personally it’s more noticeable on overdrive tones
I just picked up a used Stomp XL. I will be watching this again once it gets here. I enjoyed the video.👍🏻
Legend, thank you
Thanks for the content! 👍🏼

Hi Andy, it could be interesting to see a comparison video GX100 vs HX Stp xl. Nice playing man btw
Thanks bro! I might do a video of similar tones between the 2 😉
Have you noticed any difference in feel between the 2 units
