Thomas never gets his due because he died shortly after the war. He was an efficient commander and always performed that way.
Both such a waste of life
Lisa Marie and her Son Benjamin may their Souls RIP and Perpetual Light Shine on them.
It's from a short story by Maurice Walsh, 1912.
The train conductor in White Christmas was Percy Helton.
Yes!
The Quiet Man
There should have been more HUGS and less DRUGS . DRUGS ARE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
❤❤❤
John Wayne did not get along well with Kim Darby, possibly because he wanted his daughter for the part, so director Hathaway had to mediate. They didn't speak off set, so took out all their angst on screen and it shows.. Wayne just said, let her rip and the rest is history. He took home an Oscar. Hailee was 13 and Kim was 21.
Lt. Looney was killed alongside one of my friends and former shipmates, Denis Miranda. Denis, miss you Brother!
Sending prayers. Thank you for your service. ❤️
Now is her time to spend with them...may she rest in peace.
Could have done without the music and played Elvis songs
True, Elvis songs are copywrited so we used a song Elvis would have liked.
*took place, *was born
*thank you. 😊
I think the argument that Napoleon was not a tyrant because of his love of literature and art is a weak one. For example, Putin is philosophy enthusiast and art patron. Does it disenfranchise his dictatorship?
Napoleon became intoxicated by his success. He is not black and white but must be viewed in shades of grey. Our argument is not he can’t be a tyrant because he loved literature and art. Our argument is that he loved literature and art. He was highly authoritative but also modernized France. One does not negate the other.
Thank you, I’m retired USA AIR FORCE
Thank you for your service and for watching. ❤️
🙏🏻🤍🪽💜🪽💐🙏🏻

Thats disgusting to break into his crypt. Id have him moved too
Dennis Hopper was not nominated for anything with True Grit. He had a minor role. He was, however, nominated for Best Screenplay for Easy Rider that year.
You are correct. We corrected ourselves in the description. Thank you!
To put this in context, you need to discuss the Battle of Franklin. You didn’t even mention the battle at Shy’s Hill and the surrounding engagements. Confederate troops didn’t even reach Fort Negley. Do your research please.
I’ll pass along your feedback to the park service so they can correct the displays and placards we were reading and quoting. Thanks!
Well done Thank you for your service
Our pleasure!
They need to leave the giant plaque out of the final design. It's ugly, the poem is weak (written by Korczak.) It's an absurd vanity move from Korczak
Wow incredible history. Sadly only found you a week ago. Watched Full Metal Jacket because of your knowledge and history. From Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 😊❤
I am so glad you found us! Welcome to the Walk with History community.
Your autogenerated subtitles suck!
Again thank you beautiful lady. Fantastic history and your knowledge. What is the symbol, of leaving a Penny on the headstones? Regards Best Wishes from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 😊
The penny means I also served in the military and visiting a fellow service member’s grave.
So, nose art is mentioned at the beginning, but....
But we found what noseart we could at the show. 😂
I meet Lisa Marie on my 21 birthday I was in Daytona Beach she was at the race track promoting her first CD I waited in line and when I got up to her she asked me what my name I tolder and she said please don't ask me does this mean you are the princess of rock and roll I just said no you're father was the king of rock and roll but you are just you she looked at me and said thank you and she asked if she could give me a hug I said yes I'll never forget her you are missed RIP Lisa Marie Presley ❤😢
What an amazing story!
Most people who study the Civil War know next to nothing about this battle. Coming shortly after Franklin, it's seems more of an afterthought and the final proof that JB Hood had absolutely no business conmanding an army.
Truth!!!!
GET YOUACTTOGETHER HIS MOTHER WAS NEVER IN THE CRYPT
Yes she was. My act is together. Thanks for watching it.
Ok you’re the 300th person to cover the same thing, other than getting yourself on UA-cam what’s the point?
Thank you for watching.
SO very Sad😢😢😢
What about Elvis grave😮
We have another short at Elvis grave!
If you are ever out in Northeast TN, we have a pretty great little history museum in Greeneville. Has a well done Civil War display highlighting a very little known campaign and battles that happened in our area. Lots of history around for exploring!
We’ll have to check that out!
God bless you lisa❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😢😢😢😢😢
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The three men at the cemetery; 2 of them were mafia the other was an undercover FBI agent.. The men were there to check to see if the body in the casket was actually Elvis. It all had to do with Colonel Parker and his gambling debts to the casino. The mob wanted their money, and the colonel's contract with Elvis was at stake.
🤔
Interesting, I am visiting Nashville from Johnson City next week and may explore the Fort
Love it!
😢😢😢😢 a Tragedy and Benjamin was so Handsome
❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢
Its a tree if it were a volcano wheres the cone for lave flow, the reasons for the sides when the great flood happened the sedament from the water drifted on top slid down sides then became rock baking in the sun
🤔
John Buford also received his long overdue promotion as he was dying. It's also interesting that the same seize the initiative actions that we praise Vincent for are the very same actions that Dan Sickles tends to be condemned for. Sickle's actions at Gettysburg are often looked at in the vacuum of the battle itself, and that is a disservice. The debacle at Chancellorsville is just as fresh in his memory as it is in the rest of the Army of the Potomac. His decision to advance to what he could see as higher commanding ground stems directly from what had happened with his corps at Chancellorsville, and he did not want a repeat. The results of the two commanders' actions obviously have very different outcomes. I have also read at least one analysis that although III Corps gets mauled and II Corps gets dragged in, be moving forward, it disrupted not just Meade's plan, but Lee's as well, and forcing a running fight over nasty ground for much more of the day ended up being much more in the favor of the Union forces. It meant that the Confederates ended up with an attack that, like the previous day, wasn't formed up the way they wanted, and the extending of the action allowed more time for V and VI Corps to come up. It's an interesting theory to say the least.
I have an ancestor that travelled from West TN to Nashville to enlist in the Union Army .....
How cool!
