    I gotta say, I was raised to be respectful and not to walk across graves but walk in the front of the headstones and between the graves. And I have taught my kids and grandkids to do the same. I can't believe that I am the only one who does this but the more I watch videos of people in cemeteries I may be wrong. Either way, I will still do it and make sure I pass it down to the younger ones.

      @goldenera4ever 21 день тому +1

      @WalkwithHistory I don't understand. She said people deface the mausoleum like they deface the wall in front of Graceland, so I was pointing out that the writing on the wall at Graceland has been going in since Elvis had it built. At some point, it became an accepted thing to allow people to do. I guess technically, it is still defacing, but I don't believe EPE looks at it that way since they allow it. I didn't mean to come across as malicious in my original comment, so hopefully, it wasn't taken that way.

    • @airbubble.
      @airbubble. 16 днів тому +1

      @@goldenera4ever I thought this too. The way the narrator said it, was like writing on the wall at Graceland is frowned upon. It really isnt. (I can understand not writing on the Mausoleum wall as thats definitely not acceptable) I was at Graceland last month and wrote on the wall while I was standing talking to his grand-daughter, and she wrote on the wall at the same time for both her Mum and Elvis. And read what I and others had written too.

    Great video, and very respectful too the location. I'm really not sure why people getting their nickers in a twist about the music, it really didn't detract from the video, and yes maybe a little info was sightly lost but that was just a bit of a mistimed fade out...as for the song, it was very bluesy just as Elvis would have liked it. 👍

      Vernon Presley sis know about Elvis’s right to a military funeral. His response said that his son loved roses and he said he wanted a blanket of roses on the casket.
      (It is likely the that Defense Department still sent a flag to the family.)
      I will add that when Elvis recorded “Mama Loved the Roses” at American Studios in January, 1969, he did tear up several times during the process.

    Thousands que for hours to view Elvis open coffin ???
    So why why why is there not a single witness come forward to say they viewed it?
    Why is there not a single video or news real from that day or even a fan photo ?
    For years and years fans gathered at Graceland but on the day his dead body is available to view not a single witness photo or news's real from graceland !!!

Apparently as many as 30k filed past it !! there isn't a single picture of a que of the public queuing at the front door of Graceland ! On any given day for years there were fans at the gates taking photos and for the day his body is on display there isnt a single news crew at the scene come on man !! something just isn't right. Show us a picture of members of the public queuing at the front door go on please show us . And come on the news crews would have been crawling all over it !!
