My name is Joe, I am a gunpla builder from USA. I will post my Gunpla ASMR videos as well as other Gundam related videos.
I got into Gundam in 2001 when Gundam Wing first aired on Toonami but I really liked 0079 and G Gundam more than wing as a kid. Since 2001 I’ve been collecting Gundam related figures until I got into the Gunpla hobby in 2017.
My first build was a NG Wing Gundam 1/144 that I used as an action figure, so it was easily destroyed. I then remained collection MSiA figures and robot spirits. In 2012 I got my first real gunpla the HG Kshatryia followed by the RG zeta at the same year. I didn’t really get back heavily into gunpla until 2017 when I started collecting with my first kit back to the hobby being the RG 00 Raiser as I was rewatching Gundam 00 at the time.
Gundam is one of my core passions and one of my favorite franchises since I was a kid surpassing even Star Wars as my favorite. Come with me as I build more kits, skills and friendships.

HG Gundam Burn Lapius - Review - [4K]
In Today's video we're going to be taking a close look at the new High Grade Gundam Burn Lapius model Kit.
This kit is the latest from the G-Unit or 'The Last Outpost' side story manga. This manga had a run back in the 90's and is a side story that takes place at the same time as Gundam Wing. For many USA fans, Gundam Wing was their first exposure to the Gundam franchise. Being a USA fan myself I really enjoy seeing more expansion to the lore of Gundam Wing and I really like a lot of these G-Unit designs.
Gundam Burn Lapius is the upgraded version of Gundam Aesculapius, which itself is an upgraded version of Gundam Geminass 02 after it's been defeated in battle by Oz Prize, a special forces group of Oz soldiers who are intent on taking over a space colony where the Gundam Geminass testing was being performed.
This kit is very wide and unique, it also has a transformation gimmick which allows the Gundam to transform into something similar to a Hy-Gogg which we saw in 0080 War in the Pocket. The kit is molded in a nice ocean teal blue color, and a seafoam green type of color, these blue's mixed with the yellow come together to make a really nice color scheme.
The design looks like it's been created for a royal knight which fits the characters as the Oz Prize special forces ace pilots see themselves as knights.
This kit was obtained through USA Premium Bandai, because this kit is a premium bandai model kit this is NOT available on store shelves, and may be considered a little difficult to find from time to time. If you have Premium Bandai in your area, it's best to check and see if it's still available on the site or check with a japanese proxy service to see if this kit is able to be found. If it's too expensive to find through a proxy, there is sure to be a reprint eventually, patience is key with these Premium Bandai kits.
Being that this is P-bandai there is a lot of disdain that kit's like this get released on P-bandai. This design is really niche and reuses a lot of molding from the Geminass Gundam kits, I'm not surprised this ended up on P-bandai and while it's a little annoying that it's an exclusive item, I'm just glad that this kit even exists at all.
Sadly this kit does have some issue's that plague's it and a lot of that has to do with the parts involved here as a lot of it is repurposed from the Geminass kit and those joints / parts don't really work well on a kit this wide, and heavy. You'll definitely want to pay attention to the review to see what I'm talking about and how to go about fixing these issues. It's a really cool design and a neat kit, it just needs a little TLC to be perfect.
This kit was built with:
Godhand ultimate nipper
Tamiya JX2 straight blade nipper
Godhand precision hand brush
Tamiya red acrylic paint (only for the head cap vent)
Tamiya accent color black
Zippo lighter fluid
about 387257 cotton buds for cleanup
a small degree of patience
This video was filmed with:
Canon R5 mkII
Canon RF 24-70mm 2.8F L lens
Canon RF 100mm 1.8F L Macro Lens
Ronin RS4 Pro
GVM camera slider
Neweer studio lights
Neweer overhead camera mount
Rode Wireless Go II

Today we take a look at the V-Tiger Hi Nu Gundam 4th Party kit. What is a 4th party you might ask? That's essentially a copy of a copy. So this is a copy of the Hi Nu Gundam Ver Ka, with a YJL Land resin kit. So this is essentially a colored plastic model based off a resin upgrade for a kit that already existed from bandai. It's essentially kitception. This is the deluxe version of the kit, I w...

These models generally include greater surface detail, and come packed in with stickers as well as a premolded in...

Bro your weathering is crazy! good review! and also, is the ammo belt rubber? crazy
In the Anime, that Gundam EX fought like a insane barbarian instead of recognisance.
This kit really is perfect for practicing painting and mixing things up from the standard HG "polycap into kind of flat, boring armor parts". Coming from the Earthree Gundam to this, the amount of surface detail is astounding. I can completely forgive the articulation being limited in exchange for an HG that's sort of like a mini FM rather than the mini MG of modern RGs. All for an incredibly reasonable price.
I still hate the design, but you're a good reviewer and builder. Subscribed.
Bro I thought that the weathering was part of the kit until I saw the runners honestly you did really good weather that bad boy
Nice job and very helpfull review, can you tell me what type of colours have you used for the yellow/gold details and for the metal weathering?
This is the sickest Gundam I’ve ever seen
I really appreciate how you put a bit more work into the kits your e gundam ex extra detailing is awesome and shows you don’t need to put hours into a kit to look amazing
think we will be able to get the gouf or the GM?
Even after the show, still not a fan. Its TOO weird for an RX.
Nice reviews 😊
Are there decals for it?
Good review, but not a fan of this mobile suit.
Not paying PB price for bootleg issues, and even less for a suit coming from G-Unit, which is not only an obscure series because it's a manga, but because the story is simply BAD. The transforming gimmick is kind of cool tho. Now, i wish they did an MG kit for the Hydra Gundam, that guy is cool af.
I’m going to try to get the Aesculapius, because it’s one of my favorite designs, and appears in Turn A’s side story (plus it just looks awesome)
Thanks for the review Joe, I hope these issues don't make it's way to the Leo R cuz I pre-ordered it.
P-Bandai with bootleg fitting issues 😂
PBan kits often have a lower budget than full release kits. That’s why even the newer ones often have hollow parts, or extremely outdated engineering
lets hope daban fixes these fitment issues lol
@@joshuaszetoNo, let's hope JMS fix it.
Yo
Z'Gokdam! Heard this thing has a lot of problems. But it's always nice to get more views on it.
Cheese churger
Pretty sick channel. Subbed. keep it coming.
I would've wish they made more kits about the show it had alot of mobile suits I want to become a kit
I need the rg Zeong last shooting effect set
I just started watching RFV and my goodness this gundam is super super cool. Planning to get one after I saved up a bit 😀 also good review man!
👍👍👍
Amazing!! Finally a proper white devil! Allright lets get build gunpla again!
If you want an old gundam kit i can help you to buy here in Japan😊
This Gundam looks like it's naked out of the box. It really needs that weathering. Awesome job!
Which weather did you use for the ex I'm trying to get rn but I definitely gonna fet a weather like that
so is this a kid riding a gundam? or it before rx-87
I love how it look like a decepticon gundam
It looks like a freaking RG I love it!
the weathering and paneling on this is amazing sir!
I'd be hella sold if they do the Gouf, GM, and the Zaku 1 lmao
Love your content. Hard to find good gunpla content so I sincerely wish you success and longevity Joe!
Good Video! You helped warm up this design to me. I hope you enjoyed building this kit.
I just found your channel and I must say I am now a fan! Your review format reminds me of Type V3 but more detailed. I hope to see more from your channel, keep it up!
Didn’t really vibe with the series, but I love this Gundam’s design
Why didn't you like the series? I'm curious.
those hip connections look super fragile its scary
It's surprisingly sturdy despite the plastic being fairly thin there.
Are the in-store exclusives? Because I checked Target’s website and neither the EX nor Solari’s Zaku even show up, never mind the stock status.
No these should be out officially now, october 19th was the official release date. It's possible Target got these kits first because of a brand deal with bandai. I assume regular distributors of gunpla to hobby stores etc, will get these sooner rather than later. Usually a kit takes 1 month and a half to 2 months to get to the USA after it's release in japan.
To "organic" design, looks like a human skeleton
That was actually the original design philosophy behind the Gundam EX design. This was stated by Kimitoshi Yamane the mech designer. Same designer as the EZ8.
I wish bandai would use a more matte type of plastic or color...
I dont think they're able to do that just because of the molding process. You can always matte top coat the kit once youre done.
I think Bandai's Gunpla Builder Parts 1/144 Zeon Hands would look great with this kit, seeing that those Builder Parts hands are loaded with surface details, eventhough the back of the hands is kinda flat 🤔
it might, this zaku is a little bit bigger compared to other 1/144 Zakus. I definitely would love more emotive hands for these HG kits.
dropdown legs, for if you want your zaku to look like its wearing a miniskirt
Goofy for sure but crouching wouldn’t be possible without it.
Where can I get this?
I got both of mine from target. I had an employee scan the UPC codes and look out back for me.
Awesome review, to be honest i hated it at first but after watching the series and also after mech designer Kimitoshi Yamane confirm that the script made him think of grim reaper and skeletons, i bady want it now, waiting for mine to arrive.
Thank you for the kind words! I thought the design was polarizing at first too but I like it quite a bit, I thought this Gundam was great in the series, definitely made me appreciate it even more!
Where to get this Gunpla? I also need the Zaku. Is it available worldwide?
Japanese release was 10/19 so these should hit those stores and trickle down to other countries within the next month or 2.
liked the kit from this series because they really feels RG-esque, the realistic type animation have a great contribution for that, great video tho, gonna watch more from your channel
Thank you for the kind words! I loved the realistic design of these RFV kits quite a bit. Hoping we get a second series to expand on these designs a little more.
