I reckon the Leo-R will be solid, the HG Leo is super solid and I suspect the Leo-R is a remold of that. The Burnlapius is big and heavy and the original Gemiass joints that burnlapius relies on didnt get beefed up for this added weight so I wouldn't worry about the Leo-R.
Great looking kit. might have to get one. Did you have any problem with the Tamiya accent color black making the plastic brittle? I have only used pens but they have some draw backs in small areas.
I panel line on the runner so I don't have to deal with any pooling into joints or parts, that's typically what causes cracking with the Tamiya panel liner, if you're ever nervous about it you can gloss clear coat the whole runner to protect the parts, this will ensure the liner doesnt eat the plastic. With Burn Lapius I didnt have any issues using the Tamiya.
Not paying PB price for bootleg issues, and even less for a suit coming from G-Unit, which is not only an obscure series because it's a manga, but because the story is simply BAD. The transforming gimmick is kind of cool tho. Now, i wish they did an MG kit for the Hydra Gundam, that guy is cool af.
Im a sucker for this design even though I do find a lot of this kits drawbacks to be disappointing. I'd still rather a disappointing kit I can fix or retool over the kit never existing, so it's somewhat of a catch 33. I wouldnt blame anyone for passing on a kit of an obscure design that has a myriad of loose issues.
Keep on the great review videos. I am now informed, and this will help with my future kit purchases.
Thank you for the view and comment! More to come soon.
Z'Gokdam!
Heard this thing has a lot of problems.
But it's always nice to get more views on it.
Thank you for the view and the comment! Definitely disappointing for sure but not impossible to fix. just needs a lot of TLC.
Nice review, Joe.
Thank you so much!
While it's in The Last Outpost, you also have the reworked version of it for the GoL/EW version of the AC universe in Operation: Galirest
I'll have to take a look into that, I love this design a lot. I appreciate the tip!
Nice reviews 😊
Thank you so much!
P-Bandai with bootleg fitting issues 😂
PBan kits often have a lower budget than full release kits. That’s why even the newer ones often have hollow parts, or extremely outdated engineering
lets hope daban fixes these fitment issues lol
@@joshuaszetoNo, let's hope JMS fix it.
it's sad :( I love the Burn Lapius. Sadly the reuse of the Geminass body really is what hurts this kit.
Thanks for the review Joe, I hope these issues don't make it's way to the Leo R cuz I pre-ordered it.

I’m going to try to get the Aesculapius, because it’s one of my favorite designs, and appears in Turn A’s side story (plus it just looks awesome)

Yo
Good review, but not a fan of this mobile suit.
Thank you for the kind words! I can understand not liking the burnlapius, it's a very very obscure design.
