- Bandai has just announced it's newest series coming out in 2025. Let's talk about the promotional trailer, images, story synopsis as well as some leaks that have appeared on the web. We'll talk a little bit about the fandom too.
There’s a lot of speculation in this video so please take some of the information here with a grain of salt. There’s a lot of hype around this series and I wanted to cover it as a LOT of information has leaked out on its first day after being announced.

I have an issue with the fairly simple design of the elbow and knee joint. Don't get me wrong, I do like the industrial looking design of the arms and legs. The issue I have with it is that very design might pose as a complication or limit when designing a future master grade. Having those simple single jointed arms and legs means that they are not connected via the inner frame, meaning future mg kits of this will not have a mechanically double jointed joints and also means there may not be a full inner frame. The simple single jointed design would also mean that we may not get those really cool engineering we get on master grade kits with double joints. Of course, the possibility of a master grade will depend on the popularity of the anime, so it might never receive a mg treatment, but even if it did, it will still be quite a long time before we get one.
Great assesment here, I even pinned this comment as it's a great point. The elbow does look extremely limiting, I feel like the foot will pose a problem too with future 1/100 iterations, that's a lot of weight for this 1 hinge joint on the side of the leg to handle. The simplicity of the joints gave me a sort of Aimam type of vibe. This might be a design that's just better suited as a FM.

I love this new design. I'm so tired of the same old redesigned gundam designs. I want something new and fresh. I hope that's what we get.
I am one of those that is lukewarm, but I’m definitely hoping for a great story. GWitch had some amazing designs, but the story didn’t quite land for me, so I didn’t really like it. I’m holding high hopes for this.
I am loving the exotic designs so far, and I would like to see and Alt. UC universe where Zeon won
If this Italian leak is to be believed that's what I'm most excited about as well, I'd love to see a world where Zeon won, it will be a cool "what if" type of scenario.
Nice take Joe, I'll give it a chance just like any Gundam series. For IBO HG kits Bandai has been reprinting most of them as my shop is expecting a lot more on the way.
Kid gets in robot because there are many dead adults. Child soldiers are becoming the norm they lament throughout the franchise
even though i hate the main MS design but i still going to watched because i know this show have a good studio and the best director making it
That's how I feel about it to, I'll typically watch a whole series before making my determination. I very much did not like the GQX design when I first saw it.
Technically this first ms ain't even a gundam. If the leak is true the red gundam is the enemy therefore we are siding with the non gundam faction

If the leaks about it being an alt uc timeline is true then who’s to say the gquuuuuux won’t get the Gundam moniker during the series? It’s not like the Gundam name has any meaningful meaning aside from branding in Universal Century

it is! I'm always trying to sneak old band merch into videos if I can lol. This hoodie came with the Deprive album back in 2013. Definitely a big fan of his earlier stuff though.

That mono eye Zaku might be a colony or Zeon enforcer.
That Zaku and hopefully its series are probably the only mecha i want to buy the gunpla with, the Gundam look horrendous no matter how many times i look at it, and I am a fan of Gundam EX.
I agree about the feet, otherwise I really like the suit design.
I think I'm just getting old. I bowed out of Witch from Murcery like from episode 3. It's Gundam for girls with mummy and daddy issuse. Was it Kakorot197 who was asking, What happened to Manly Gundam? To be honest, I will give this one a shot and I am looking forward to singing the praises of WfM.
P.S. I bet the HG is very sticker heavy!!!
While I agree that the character drama of the main characters in WfM wasn't interesting, I found interest in the world building and some of the side characters of WfM. It gets much more interesting later on, and Guel has a fantastic character arc, he's arguably the best character in the show. WfM mostly suffers from a short run, and I think bandai is tepid to give us another 50 run episode series as that's a big expense to produce.
@JoesGunplaGarage I think it's dubbed on UA-cam, so I'm definitely going to give it another go when I'm in a better head space. I need to finish my Turn A gunplay and de-stress.
I'm going to watch this show so I make duck jokes about the G:Quacks.
I'm calling it the Gfuuuuuux bc I like the design. Fully expecting the story to be miserable.
Honestly i really like the gquuuuuux design especially after seeing the kit. For the "Red gundam" the design is too eva like in my opinion, it doesn't have its own originality to it and it's basically if the RX78-2 gundam and the eva had a baby. With the Gquuuuuux, it have a design that scream wow i never seen that before while the "red gundam" just scream is that an eva? I just hope that the "red gundam" finalize design doesn't follow the "concept art design" just make it a bit more bulkier and give the face a makeover all together, the face make me feel weird. (Its not that I hate the eva. In fact I love the eva design. It just that I am watching a *gundam* series not evangelion so I want the gundam to be more gundam like with a sprinkle of eva. They can do it, look at the Gquuuuuux)
dude that not a leak lol thats just a recap of events that already happened up until now and thats nto a coprterate logo its a clan logo as you mentioned its a clan battle series
why not just called it Gundam GX instead of quecks
If I want to see an Evangelion-styled robot, I will just go watch Evangelion. The mobile suits look horrible with all the cuts and parts all over the places.

I was a Gundam fan back when Wing hit the US, really enjoyed the few kits I could get back then. Finally got back into the whole hobby around 3 years ago and have been seeing everything available. GQuacks really interests me since I really enjoyed Turn A seeing it earlier this year. IBO still is meh and WfM was terrible to me, not sure on any rewatch on either since they are still pretty fresh in my mind.
Why didn't you like IBO or WfM? Not every series is for everyone, but I love hearing other's thoughts on things.
@@JoesGunplaGarage WfM was just a boring school drama till the last few episodes, far too little story for so many episodes. The kits on the other had are really nice, have quite a few of them.
IBO might take a lot of time to write out so simply put I did not like the direction season 2 went at all. After around the second half it felt like it was changed last minute to give a sad ending to the series when it could have explored the Calamity War and unearthed more Gundams on Mars to help Mcgillis against Gjallarhorn. It could have been an epic end but it felt like the writers did not want to give such a massive win in the end. They could have had some more epic kits in the end too. I like a lot of the kits for IBO I just wish some of them werent PB. lol
Let's talk about It. It's an abomination. Probably the ugliest mecha from Gundam universe.

there is a lot of speculation out there but from what I've been seeing it looks like the talks for this series creation with studio Khara go as far back as 2018. Mechs for this show have been designed by Ikuto Yamashita who's the same designer for Armored core, Evangelion etc. His designs are quite a big departure from what we're used to seeing in the franchise. I definitely thought it was extremely ugly at first but I warmed up to it. I totally understand if other fan's aren't able to though, it's quite a big departure from contemporary Gundam designs.
@JoesGunplaGarage i can understand why people like that thing. It's a Eva that made love with a Nirvash. But the result Is ugly and unfitting in a Gundam series.
Lucky enough It doesn't affect the UC.
