First event of 2024 went well at Corner Exit AutoX at Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium! I was able to give the Falken RT660’s my thoughts and a more in depth test. Where can I get the break caliper for this model
@loveherflaws Hello, you can find Brake components for the Birel R31 from Comet Kart Sales. However, I had to find the pads on EBay from Righetti Ridolfi.
did you pluck the USDM door runners and plug weld them? Working on a coupe now and am figuring that out.
@jmfox1987 Hello! Are you referring to the door mouldings? If so, yes, I removed them and welded the holes shut. Once the car was painted, the body shop smoothed out the waviness. I showed this process in my previous video of this car, the Summer Internship Special. Good luck with your build, flush doors definitely look a lot better imo! 🙌

I just got 2 of these kt100 engines for my cart is nibbi a good carb for em or should i look at other ones cause i have no carbs
@catalinnicolaevici2061Hello, it's been a while since I messed with a KT100. It's possible to run a dirt bike-style carb like a Nibbi, but I'm not sure how well it would run or what kind of tuning it would need. I recommend staying with OEM or close to it, so a Walbro WB carb (My KT100 ran a Walbro WB-3A). I hope this helps, and good luck!

Still stock carb, just air filter. I used an air filter adapter from BMI Karts for a 5hp Briggs Flathead.

dammit the finger tool gets me every time. Anywhere i have seen it i always laugh. Sick coupe! I got a 1997 coupe like yours. I just finished 04 sti swapping it with the 6 speed, engine, brembos, ALL OF IT. mine was molested by the previous owners though...so shes a multicolored queen right now. I just put the entire interior minus the center console since i dont have the bracket for it. good job!

In the video, I had a set of 17” Prodrive’s and 18” 2022 Subaru BRZ rims. I’m currently running 04’ STi rims 👍

@aralsea91 Hello, if I recall, compression should be around 160psi. It's been awhile since I've worked on my Kt100 though 😂

Hey jet, I have the same manco indy kart that I'm restoring as well. Do you know what exact bolts and spacers you're using for seperating the drum brake and sprocket? Really need them since when I bought mine from someone, they did not include them. Thank you! (If you can please include the sizes and what type)

Nobody in these comments know what they’re talking about I own a go kart shop in PA and what you have to do is weld the free wheel part on the rear right side hub, to the axle so you have 2wd.
For some manco karts, you can't sadly
mine is direct drive so it doesnt has a clutch
and it doest acelerates when you puch it to make it start, when it start and you press the gas pedal it stops
That thing is beautiful, hoping to get one like it in the future 😅
