Excellent...
Hi I am just looking to add a clutch to my kt100 to make life easier at the track. Will most karts convert to have a clutch installed?
Nice! Yes, clutches definitely make tracks days much easier, but there is quite a bit of maintenance needed with either wet or dry clutches. And for the second question, I'm not too sure what you mean by that; but there are plenty clutch options available for the KT100 so many should fit. It just depends if your chassis has enough room so that there isn't anything blocking the clutch. I hope this answered your question :)
@@JetSport.Racing can I use the centrifugal clutches that are on amazon? like the ones for mini bikes
@@sploofy4878 Hello, the clutches on most go karts and mini bikes don’t fit the KT100. The shaft size on the KT is 5/8” and the type of clutch is called a “bully clutch”
Hi I'm just wondering where did you get the clutch? I need a new one for my kt100 thank you.
@Andrew Cardey Hello! I got mine at Out2Win.com since they stock Tomar Clutches. You can also go to Comet Kart Sales (they stock Patriot Clutches). Hope this helps! :)
@@JetSport.Racing okay thank you so much
@@JetSport.RacingThank you that website has what I been looking for I’m rebuilding a “1974 Bug wasp” go kart. Thumbs up 👍
@@ivan8-D Thank you! And that’s a cool kart! Always wanted to restore an old Bug :)
What year is your kart , I recently bought one but they didn't know the year , it is a KT100.
@Al Mierz My kart is a 2003 Birel R30. KT100’s are an engine that have been used in American Kart racing since the 1980’s and have kind of died out here in SoCal in the late 2000’s. So, the engine usually won’t determine the year of kart especially if it’s swapped.
hope this helps! :)

Thanks. @Jet ,
Can you advise me to where about on the chassis I might find an model or I D. Number.
This cart I purchased has been powder coated , lots of Billet , new everything and hasn't been run since the previous owner got it out of the shop.
Have you ever heard of Stafford's Racing Products , they were supposed to be the ones who redid the complete cart, engine and all.
Thanks for your help.
Al. MIERZ.
@@almierz4604 There should be a brand stamp on the front of the kart. Also, newer karts have the serial number and model name engraved on to the bearing holders on the rear axle. Sounds like you got a coo kart! if you did not find anything, feel free to email me some pics -

thank you!
Where can I get the break caliper for this model
@loveherflaws Hello, you can find Brake components for the Birel R31 from Comet Kart Sales. However, I had to find the pads on EBay from Righetti Ridolfi.
Does kt100 need clutch can they work without it?
KT100’s don’t need clutches, but it just makes it easier since the kart isn’t constantly going. You can use a direct drive as well.
hola desde valencia ...españa me podrias dar el enlace o modelo para comprarlo..gracias un saludo.
