    Damn, Kidd…….great job dealing with all those obstacles thrown your way. You prepped your work area well which helped you immensely. Thank God you’re thin!!! Goes a long way in those tight spaces.

    Great work guys. You know what really blows my mind? The fact that pipe doctor is a multi million dollar company but yet Mikey can't spend 200 bucks and get Peter some new boots. What a shame. I buy me and my guys new gear every year. What a guy Mike is, he cares so much about you guys.

      If you only knew how generous Mike was with us. We can afford new boots.

      @DCHVAC I am sure you can. I would never let a guy wear wore out boots with a nice uniform. Just saying. Keep up the good work.

      @ThermalSolutionsHVACR worried is the last thing I am. Just looks pathetic week after week. Only imagine what customers think. #newboots#redwings#vasque

    Great job in a very tight space. I can easily see why it was a long day. Always fun when the boss pops in, and of course he always shows up when the critical work (brazing) is happening. 😅

    Nice install, nothing wrong with getting a job done right with quality! I know there is tradeoff where time is money, but I rather do it right a bit slower and not have callback. BTW - Nothing wrong with that Carrier! haha 🙂Have good weekend.

    Those Generac boxes are load sheds for the generator. They shut the A/C's off on initial start up to lighten the load on the generator. They gave me a fuss on my own house. One of my A/H's stopped working. I figured out there was no power to it. I had power coming out of the breaker. I was stumped. I thought maybe something chewed my wires in the attic. I took the wires off the breaker tied them together and had continuity at the A/H. I gave up and decided to buy a new breaker even though I knew that wasn't it. On the way to HD I remembered those load sheds. I went back home and sure enough it was the load shed. It has a contactor in it normally closed so the opposite of an A/C contactor. I bypassed it and back in business. If you ever get a call on one of these you just disconnect the connector on the control board and it will bypass. Generac had a recall on those boards and warranty's them. I spent a couple hours because I just totally forgot that was between the panel and the A/H. When the board goes it pulls the contactor in (open) and no power. A working board keeps it from being pulled in.

    You can buy weights for the tent. They’re much better than the straps and easier to put up less time-consuming.

    8:44 those are muddlers for the central vac unit (specifically I saw those and said "Beam mufflers"), as the exhaust can be loud. Why the fuck they just left them lying in the return, I'll never know! Some installers are lazy asshats... But that's my world, I do the vacuum systems.

    Daniel, I work for a HVAC company in Florida, and we sell these, along with a few other main brands. What do you guys do, when you get a machine that has damage? Down here in Florida, its really bad with Bosch. Sometimes the boxes look awful, but the units look fantasic. Then, you get some that perfect boxes, but, the units have damage to them. Just wonder what you guys do? Do, you inspect before the units leave the location where you pick them up? Thanks!

    • @DCHVAC
      @DCHVAC  4 місяці тому

      Depends on the damage. If it’s bad, I’d imagine we’d call the supply house and tell them to bring us one and take the old

    Interesting that you have an analog manifold and not a digital one…any reason why?…and never mind I see your digi one at the end…I guess you keep the analog one for potentially dirty systems?

      It was up against wood, and the tip was too big to fit where I needed it to. So in that world.
