How To Rearm Inert Military Surplus Fuzes for Smoke Devices the EZ Way
Переглядів 16 тис.4 години тому
How to rearm inert fuzes from military surplus retailers for use with smoke devices. Be advised this process creates an open system with an ignited visco fuse used to ignite legal smoke compositions. It does not create an internally burning, gasless, time-delayed detonator which is used in fragmenting/antipersonnel devices. If this is used to make a destructive device with fragmentation and/or ...
Colored Smoke Canister Made From a Tiki Torch Can | Testing New Design

Order a Pull-Cord Igniter Kit 50ct for $40 from my website! (it's easy to find) Testing a new design for a colored smoke device. It uses an inert M228 Fuze as an igniter and ejects bottom plate off to expose exit orifice. The exit orifice is too large in this case and as a result it flares up and doesn't eject smoke as aggressively as desired. That is because the backpressure generated by the e...

    If you can lob a potato accurately with air, you can lob other things that weigh the same as a potato. And potatoes at point blank range is enough to kill someone. Y'all do with that information what you want. But you are an amazing dad. Fuckin live your best life my dude!

    I found while doing this same thing that if you use spent 209 shotgun primers and remove the pistol primer from the copper sleeve and drill out the internals of the 209 you can fit if I remember correctly a magnum pistol primer in there perfectly. The 209 primer has a bit of a lip on it and if you drill out the fuse head assembly so that the shaft of the sleeve fits in but not the lip the 209 primer will act as a bushing to prevent wear on the fuse head assembly and give you a longer service life. Also do not attempt to use a new 209 primer as it will blow the striker into orbit and ruin the assembly

    I have 2 methods: I knocked out the original priming cartridge and epoxied a 209 primer shimmed with Starbucks green straw. The second method works better with I replaced the priming cartridge with a primed .25 ACP case. The .25 ACP case is semi rimmed and does not require shimming.

      @ What myth? That the chemical deicers cause spalling? Definitely not disproven. It happened to all the concrete I put it on.

    • @jaxturner7288
      @jaxturner7288 7 годин тому

      @@gymkhanadog when the water from the melted ice does not have time to evaporate before it flows into the pores of the concrete and then refreezes you get spalling. Pretty much you put deicing agents down at the wrong time of day. (Too late in the day). Spalling can also naturally happen when concrete is not mixed or cured correctly. When used correctly on sound concrete, salt and other deicing agents can be used in abundance without damaging concrete surfaces. Using blue heat does not cause damage, but its misuse can. 👊

    Nah, at least where I live a 50lb bag of MaCl is $5 and some change and works at way lower temps than just normal table salt. Water softener never worked good here with the temps.

    • @InventionIncarnate
      @InventionIncarnate 9 годин тому

      @@sargentcuddlepuff3490 straight MgCl2 is superior indeed. Explanation From AI: ### Why MgCl2 and CaCl2 are Better 1. **Higher Ion Production**: Both MgCl2 and CaCl2 produce more ions per formula unit than NaCl, enhancing the freezing point depression due to colligative properties. More dissolved particles disrupt the structure of ice, keeping it in the liquid phase at lower temperatures. 2. **Effective at Lower Temperatures**: The exothermic dissolution of MgCl2 and CaCl2 releases heat, which can be particularly useful in low-temperature environments, making them more effective in very cold weather where NaCl's endothermic nature becomes a disadvantage. 3. **Fast Reaction**: The release of heat, coupled with the generation of more ions, allows these chlorides to act more quickly and efficiently than sodium chloride. In summary, both MgCl2 and CaCl2 are superior to halite in melting ice due to their ability to produce more ions and release heat during dissolution, which helps melt ice faster and at lower temperatures.

    I have great memories of my tater cannon. One day me and some buddies skipped school to do stupid stuff. We waited in a great spot for the school bus to come around. We only had one chance, but the shot was perfect. The bus slowed and stopped at an intersection and we let that tater fly. Hit dead center broadside. That raw tater turned to mashed taters and rocked the bus haha. We went to the wind and never got caught. It was a legend for years. Dented the bus and everything. Fortunately, no one was harmed but the bus and it was minor, if you dont count the figurative heart attack the driver had when that potato slammed (BOOM!) Into that bus. Good times.
