I have been curious if the mechanism or quantity of energetics would change once these were allowed back in....I always saw the potential of the fuse as a good to go .... thank you !
just commenting this here in hopes it has a better chance of being seen but what about using circular pieces of masonry board sheets (hardi backer) as baffles for the smoke canisters? multiple different thicknesses readily available and baffle holes can easily be predrilled before assembly. also flame retardant
Did you find out their mix? From looks it reminded me of whistle mix, which works just as good a flash when confined 😉(we were once allowed such in the UK...) Mark at Tag said many years ago that their pyros were made in the Kalashnikov factory, though I guess they've changed that with getting CE marking and a P1 designation.
I did find that the M201A1 fuses are sold from a variety of suppliers in the usa including ones that are open to the public. Sadly though for me, being located outside of the usa, these items require certain export permits which I am not sure of how to obtain, if I can even obtain them.
Not a Pyro based device but in terms of loud AF the thunder B system is pretty freaking loud. It essentially uses C02 to expload a plastic shell that bursts at a certain psi. Might be able to use a smoke grenade to over pressure the hull and get a bang and smoke in 1.
😅 we really need a ‘DIY’ mousetrap igniter video.., the pull pin is fine and all the science is fantastic but it’s only awesome if you can make the whole thing… 🐭🪤
I like that they use peas instead of plastic bb´s in these
In spain the ones we use are a simple striker and a 9mm blank, no delay
Love that you bleeped it alexa 😂
I've been curious about harvesting the fuzes from these but now I think I'd be better off with a 3D printer, time fuse and hardware store parts.

I'm guessing you could make it even more potent by adding some more powder to the existing stuff right?
How would you rate the primers loudness?
Any guesses on what compound they use?
Have you had any experience with Sport Smoke devices? Thanks for the content!

@@LoremIpsum1970 yessir a coarse whistle mix. I believe with potassium benzoate, and trace red iron oxide as a catalyst. Hence the pink ness
@@InventionIncarnate Any thoughts ona vid breaking down a Tag whites smoke?

Is the read time fuse a plastic shell or paper/string?
Paper/ string “dipped” in red plastic-y stuff. It’s flexible
Can you even buy Taginn products anymore? I bought a case of FBG 6s a few years ago before the Russian import ban.
@@darkmadness69 I picked them up this last week at an army surplus store. Idk how hard they normally are. I’ve never purchased before this
Yes, they moved production out of Russia.
@@InventionIncarnateI was gonna ask where you picked em, not bad at that price locally

But he was right about ManBearPig!
Your bandsaw is so confused.
Hahah! Japanese pull saw, but definitely “dude wtf am I cutting”
