Let's Completely Overhaul This Samsung Dryer
My 12 year old dryer died last week. Let's extend its life another decade and give it brand new components!
This specific dryer model is a Samsung dv220aew/xaa.
However, all Samsung front loaders I've seen are built the same way.
I doubt this video will do well lol

Let's Power This Dreamcast With USB-C!
Переглядів 6 тис.Рік тому
Last time we replaced the serial port of this Dreamcast with a traditional HDMI port, but the power supply's DC port irked me. Let's remedy that and replace it with a standard USB C port. Special thanks for Bennvenn and Zarky for their patience in our discussions. Pimping Out A Dreamcast For 2023
Переглядів 14 тис.Рік тому
In the last episode, we fixed 5 out of the 6 Dreamcasts, leaving the last one to pimp out in every possible way. This modded dreamcast replaces the serial port with an HDMI one, and comes with a broadband adapter, Noctua fan mod, and a fully refurbished control board. We also compare the HDMI output with the component, as well as take the Dreamcast online to play some Phantasy Star Online.
I Bought 6 Broken Dreamcasts
Переглядів 4,6 тис.Рік тому
I bought 6 broken Sega Dreamcasts online. Let's investigate how they failed, and what we can do to get them back up to tip top shape again. While these examples are anecdotal, the repairs will probably apply to anyone looking to fix their dreamcast again.

I Tried To Fix This Genesis, And It Was A Disaster.
Переглядів 1,3 тис.Рік тому
This Sega Genesis / Megadrive's controller ports wouldn't work. Join us, and discover what the actual point of failure was. Hint: It wasn't a simple reflow. Thanks to Bennvenn for this correction: I incorrectly labeled the EMI filters as "mosfets". However, I didn't want that to distract from the overall purpose of the video.

Let's Recell a Thinkpad R40 Battery (and compare it to a new one)
The Vita is a handheld that will always have a place in my heart. It came out when I was 12 years old, and I had a lot of fun with it. I remember being very excited for Minecraft to be released on the Vita a few years after it came out. I was eagerly waiting to buy and download it as soon as possible, lol.
i thought its gonna be an Oled Vita but bro replaced the "digitizer" which also includes the display with an LCD istead of Oled panel
Why do you talk like there's something lodged in your throat?
Nice video, you talk exactly like Project Farm. Haha.
¿Cual módulo usaste?. ¿Usaste un módulo de 9V para cargar esas baterías?. Porque si suman más de 7V imagino que con sólo 5V no es suficiente para poder cargarlas.
the transition started one year ago from me posting this comment, society has stopped calling them joysticks and now calls them joycons, what a time to be alive, also why did you dropped small smds on a towel!?
Why do you speak like that.
You got that 80s surfer dude voice 😎
since you removed the front, you could have replaced the door latch/switch since they are prone to failure
ON CARPET???
5:22 that's Micro USB B 3.0/3.1/3.2. It's not a proprietary port. It's perfectly retrocompatible with Micro USB B 2.0 and it was often used on external 2.5'' hard drives and on some phones with usb 3.0 capability which came out before the creation of USB Type C, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5.
this stuff just baffles "me" personally. cause "6" like, holy f. bro I still have my original DC (aka i'm not someone in 2024 who JUST bought someone else's DC on ebay etc) from like 2000 (cause it's the Sega Sports edition) never been modded, repaired, or "upgraded"\"updated" and bro, still kicking. I still play it at least 2 times a week. sure the whole CMOS battery is dead, but i don't get why people want to repair those in 2024. it does nothing. the DC didn't have a "home" button like xbox. so it's not like you can just push a button and see the date and time while you're playing a game. the DC, you could ONLY see the date and time from the main menu (boot menu\stand by menu) so, you can check your date and time, before you play a game, or after you're done? because if you wanted to check what time it was or date, WHILE playing, you would ALWAYS need to "exit" the game, go back to the menu, see the time and restart the game (because again, this isn't xbox, it's not you "close" the game and "open" it. it's more of like, you "exit" and have to "restart" the entire game again lol). and in 2024? i just don't get it. most people SHOULD have "smartphones" by now, so, point is, why "replace" the CMOS, when you can just "play your games" and while playing it, you need to check the date or time? PAUSE the game, check your phone real quick, un-pause the game. no "modding" needed I am a Pinball machine collector as well as a video game (systems) collector, and if there is one thing I can tell you (like cars and car people) keep your "original" as "original" as possible.
lolol they're never in this good of a condition you need one with some dead bugs and rust use solder paste next time, superior method in every way
Bro is soldering on carpet
Lmao
It can also play some ps2 games through the PlayStation store
This tech is old you guys are lake ducks
I have to say, I kinda like the component cable look more - at least in Soul calibur. It has a nice softer look to it
That ending was super cute
this guy screams in lower case
ratchet and clank npc type beat
This was pretty in-depth and well narrated. Alternatively, I hate so much that you called them joy-cons.
Oh I was thinking of this everytime I pick up my vita, usb c would be so nice
Ok i really tried to sit through this entire video and just couldnt. The dings are so repeditive, you keep calling a joystick a joycon, and you just wont stop yelling!
👍
It's sad that kids nowadays have no idea what a VHS even is.
Audi visual is the empty condo on the pas card
where did you buy the rear touch panel? been looking for a good replacement
the joycon?
This needs to be applied to the Bigfoot photos.
3:12 JOYCON HELP 🤣😭
Don't do this it ruins two classics, just mod something else and rom it. The only thing you do by doing this is lower the remaining models that work, and drive up prices.
I wish I had a gram of the knowledge that this guy has lol
those drives are usually easily fixable by adjusting the laser focus
What is the best software today to remaster old VHS with bad quaility to high quality HD or4k?
The final few minutes gave me flashbacks to the golden age of PSO before it was ruined by trolls with cheat devices that let them remotely instakill other players (in a game that wasn't even PvP...).
nice vid
good video, but it sounds like you speak with periods instead of commas lol
Just found a Vita 1000 in excellent condition and bought it but the USB-C mod is out of stock 😰 daaaang my timing is terrible ! 😭
There is no way this guy hasn't said totally tubular 100 times in his life.
Rewriting reality. No thanks.
I have some VHS that you can work with that is actually Old video. VHS tapes from when I was in the Navy that have been sitting around since the late 80's early 90's. I already digitized them using the best VHS player I could find. I just want to "fix" them to share with fellow Shipmates.
I have to replace the screen of my gamegear and your video helped me to make my choice. Thank you.
This is awesome! Can you do a video on how exactly can you change the video using the program? hahaha, between the "rubber band." and "box TV" ahahahah I'm dead!
I ordered it after seeing the rear end improvement
Wow. That's pretty cool. Just completely swappable
Does the super gameboy still work after ?
sir please get a table. lol
Doesn't the super gameboy have a higher clockspeed than the original?
Ive always wanted to know what - Dot Matrix with stereo sound ment ?
You are giving me confidence that I can swap mine. I purchased it. Modded it. It works amazing. But it looks rougghhhhh. And wants to freshen it up with a white or blue shell. I’ll come back here if I ever get the guts to follow through. Great vid!
