First thing Black myth wukong base on "journey to the west" novel, same character, same plot, some thing change, but still them. many manhua writed about base in "journey to the west" story, just like that,Every story writed about wukong is same, he will fight heaven,he will fight monster, demon, he become stronger and some time overpower, some time he fight with 3 other great stone monkey, and he fight again buddha. Yes nothing new, every summer our child watch "journey to the west" again. second thing, most of china game now too obsessed japanese game, Soullike, sekiro style is sample, easy to find some game like that. Yes I still love Sunwukong, Black myth wukong is good game but not that level GOTY. May be it new with western, but not a new story with our asian. I think all the nominees are good. I'd probably only swap out Erdtree for Stellar Blade tho I dont think SB would win anyway, it deserve the nom. I think if we look back at the past nominees of each year, I think the correct game won each year except 2020. Personally I'd change some picks actually, like 2019 and 2017 choices. History lesson about Sony and Fromsoftware, Sony was the reason demon souls and dark souls was created. Sony commissioned them and paid for them and those games had nothing of that you said in them. And then Sony bought the rights for demon souls and bloodbourne so FromSoftware could make Elden ring. What i am seeing is Sony really loves FromSoftware and dont think they would ruin them at all. Without Sony most people wouldnt even know about Souls games and Fromsoftware

How can anyone feel insulted by an ape? 🤔 As for Stellar Blade: I have nothing against beautiful female chars but the way chinese companies showcase the beautiful body is incredibly cheap and sexism. And the movement looks garbage. I'm a woman and I approve of beauty and allure but this is nothing more than censored porn. Brings me back to League of Angels. The way china regards their women is not a good one. Do not get wrong. I always loved Lara Croft back then in the early 90s and I have no problem with Jessica Rabbit. Both chars are sexy and beautiful but there is a difference. As for Veilguard: Want nothing to do with that crap.

Stop pushing the FAKE woke stuff in Dragon Quest 3 2H HD remake. You obviously didn't even do 2 minutes or research to find the facts. 1. Type A clearly states "this means you will be playing as a hero" (ie MALE) 2. Type B clearly states "this means you will be playing as a heroine" (ie FEMALE) 3. Males can not wear dresses/skirts, females cant wear male items (ie gold chain, think Mr T chains) The only censorship is the art of the female warrior which you can NOT even see in game, plus Goofs (now galahads) still have bunny girl look AND even added cat girl look.

Well I agree these crits are so out of control of rating games wukong and stellar blade are one of the best, though I would admit it's a bummer stellar blade didn't get a GOTY nomination at TGA it's not like all eyes are on wukong to sweep all of it's nominations that would be ridiculous especially in the categories stellar blade is also nominated at.

The thing is if a new standard other than DEI/ESG propaganda was used to get free funding …. These game studios would be altering their “message” based on getting those free $$$$. So it’s clear that the “message” is only about agenda and not what the game dev studios actually believe 🙈🤦‍♀🤦‍♂🤦!
