In recent years the economic crisis in Poland - at least for normal persons not for "experts in TV" :D - is rapidly growing. But still to see a homeless person you'd need to ride many towns for many nights :D About 2010 over 70% of families got their own home or flat (not renting). Now I guess we have more renting houses than people who can own the house. Still here more people inherit homes from their parents and grandparents and its enough cheap for even the most basic money to be safe in your own place (or renting flat). And its still nothing unusual to see a cottage with families of 6 - grandparents, parents and kids :) Who are helping each other. When I was kid it was obvious that our grannies care for us while the parents are in job :) Thats why we dont have much homeless :)

About Poland. At least as a woman I can feel comfy enough to go out in my small town at this hour - now its 11.30 at night - to buy something, like in night apothecary nearby - 15 - 20 minutes of walk from my home. :)

The strawberries are probably or most likely imported (in the video) most likely from Spain. These shown here aren't garden type ones, you can see how shiny they look, they're so shiny looking on the surface. The real ones grown outside aren't usually that perfect and they're juicier and smell better. These ones aren't bad but they are probably still white in the middle. This store looks very good, the variety of products look very similar to what we have here in Romania. Try the real strawberries and cherries from the market and also the watermelons. Imagine walking in an outdoor market and seeing grapes that smell so good that you can see the bees and wasps trying to sample them almost all the times while the vendors try to stay there to sell their stuff. 😅🙂 That's how ripe they are. Some smell like incense, yes incense grapes. Add in apples, pears and other fruits and then you get veggies too, from fresh green dill, parsley, then the honey section, then the cheese one. That's what an outdoor market is in our country. I wonder how a farmers market looks like in Poland and how similar we are.

In Romania we have different types of traditional bread. In my region, we make bread with potatoes (they're boiled in water beforehand). Some nearby region makes bread on top of cabbage leaves. No matter the region, you'll find good to great tasting bread. No matter the region, all breads are baked in a very hot oven. I for one, just cut a nice thinner slice or two slices of bread and put it/them in the bread toaster. It will be very tasty after. Our bread making has been mostly influenced by the Germans as we call them here sași (Sachsen auf Deutsch).

But compared to other countries, considering Western countries, we looked pretty good.

i live near a simillar place its called MIejsce Straceń - lit. Place of Death.
