A Podcast Published By Myself, updated and expanded in 2024
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I started a podcast. This is episode 22 of that podcast, with a little extra added in July 2024. Ronald Reagan talked about Samizdat, a pushback against Soviet censorship through secretive self-publishing, in 1976.
I follow-up him up by offering additional history about Samizdat and a look at life in the United States that might mirror aspects of Soviet society.
Original episode description:
Could a Soviet-style censorship come to the United States, in spite of First Amendment protections? Probably not. If censorship should ever happen, it will more likely comes from the people, not the government.

First and you should not cut off the beginning, unless you need to. Also I likey, Thank You for continuing this. Edit: A wonderful insight into an anti-censorship wave behind the iron curtain...in languages I cannot read in. I guess I could always learn a new language. In any case I like how you link it to the present...well 2020 but it still applies. Edit2: Have you heard or read about The Uncensored Library? It is a beautiful minecraft building that lets dissident writers disseminate their literature. I wonder if you think something like that could be good.

First and God is real! Welcome back! Is your podcast back up? Your insights into American politics would be nice especially as Donald John Trump's economic policies are not free-market at least completely. Edit: I have to agree here. Whilst it can be useful, the beauty of language contained in the old translations are scarce surpassed in modern translations. The '70s were truly horrifying.

The podcast is not back up, no, but I'm trying to find appropriate ways to bring episodes back. I've got something in the pipeline right now. Needs a little more work before I think it will be ready. My insights, or those of President Reagan? I take it as a compliment if you mean mine. I'm just an ordinary person that has read and studied.

Little known fact.... Gallagher retired for a while, and allowed his brother to copy his act, and call himself Gallagher (I believe it was their surname). When he wanted to come out of retirement... he had to sue his brother to make him stop calling himself "Gallagher".

I'm American. I'm an American chamber maid to some kings psychotic necrophilic daughter. I lost ten years of sunlight and had my face smashed in for not having wash board abs. I'm disgusting I know it. Everyday is druggings and being told how disgusting I am for eating food. It's a culture around these parts to keep me drugged. Keep me drugged and to tell me how disgusting I look. For the kings daughter. And they do it. They do it all. They drug and help poison me, whisper things like calling me disgusting and blowing me sensual kisses on command to remind me I'm being watched and followed by the necrophiliac. They do it. They do it to keep a minimum waged salary job. That's my life now. Who needs teeth when you can have abs and be enslaved to some rich family. In America. That's America. People will kill me for a minimum waged job and to please someone with money.

Re: Dr Ruth. Granted, sure, what does her partners say. Its an interesting topic. Though keep in mind, her thing was mainly removing the taboo of sexual exploration and pleasure. HOWEVER, Tony, pretty people tend to not have to try as hard as they think they do. Us uggums gotta prove ourselves! While yall were out getting 'laid' (flopping around doing your best impression of a jackrabbit) we were alone at home.....doing anatomy homework ;) Wanna know where the clit is, buddy? The g-spot? Erogenous zones, and why they're not universal? Or how to make them universal? And why that doesnt work universally? Do you even know why there are different types of lube BEFORE considering condom or toy compatibility? How about how your attitude is why she wont try anal with you? Yeah, shut up Danza. You couldnt figure out which warm moist hole to stick it in if it slapped you in the face, even if they're slapping you in the face! Meanwhile, your ex, sister, the ugly weird girl with the spelling bee trophies, mom, and dad are waiting for me in the basement. They know better than to start without Master. Good luck with your 15 second jack hammer race to the finish with whatever guttersnipe you dragged home this time. Later, square. 🖕😎👍
