Between 1975 and 1979, with one interruption while he unsuccessfully ran for the 1976 Republican presidential nomination, Ronald Reagan offered his thoughts on current events, 3 minutes at a time to a radio audience of 30 million.
The property tax is among the least popular levied against a population, but it isn't necessarily the highest tax. Why is it the least popular? It's local, it's effects are most visible and inflation creates a triple tax burden on the homeowner attempting to pay his/her property taxes.
