  • Between 1975 and 1979, with one interruption while he unsuccessfully ran for the 1976 Republican presidential nomination, Ronald Reagan offered his thoughts on current events, 3 minutes at a time to a radio audience of 30 million.
Reagan served as governor of California during the tumultuous 1960s and, as governor, also served on the board of regents of the University of California. In this broadcast, he talks about the experience of attending one particular meeting of the board at the University of California at San Diego.
