I recon that greyhounds who can no longer race anymore can outrun their owners who want to have them put down. I've meta coupe of greyhound woners who've rescued them.

As long as you have a safety swimmer so if your legs cramp up or something, you will have help there. I would recommend a life preserver or a neoprene wet suit as they are buoyant. BTW Fairy did a pretty fair job of filming. With a little practice your dog could become a good cinematographer, better than most of the others anyway. Cheers from Idaho, USA.

You're lucky, Fairy, being able to visit national parks. I'm not allowed in our National Parks here in Australia on account of the native wildlife getting scared. Mum says she visited that part of the world when she was a young girl. Quite a long time ago, between you and me... Higgins Greyhound🐾

Awesome. Her breed, and most dog breeds, love to run! It’s so much better when they can do it when they choose! She needs fresh water after that. I’m sure you gave it to her. Let her do it. She will always come back. Her territory for running will be much bigger than most dogs. Let her run! Play with her. Don’t worry so much. When she digs, dig with her! Run with her! She will love you more and both of you will be closer!

Looked after some racing dogs,they're so loving and gentle, great to them run free but need to be well away from roads,😊

I see a lot of similarities with our two podenco hounds we adopted from Spain. They where such gentle and loving dogs. They both had a huge prey drive, but they could sleep for hours. Sadly we could only let them off lead in a fenced environment. Otherwise they would go hunting. Podencos are used solely for hunting in Spain, and don't have the best lives over there. We had them for about 11 years and they have both died of old age. Your Fairy is such a lovely dog. I love to see her running on the beach, and i enjoy watching your clips. We rescued an 8-month Doberman girl 6 years ago from a man with learning difficulties. Our new Doberman was as skinny as a greyhound. She could run as fast as a greyhound and she was being fed greyhound protein food, oddly ... This Doberman is the most gentle and loveable girl. Having watched your video, and the gentleness and gracefulness of your beautiful Fairy, only now do I realise. This man who owned her before probably socialised and raced her with greyhounds, and she has adopted their gentle persona. Your video made my heart flutter. Thank you for your beautiful video.
