The gardens were beautiful. Fairy did well for such a long walk and she looked like she enjoyed it...initially anyway.😀

I love everything she wears but personally for me, I have her wearing purple all the time, my favourite colour. I've lost count of how many purple things my dogs have 🐕🤣

Even though you did miss the blooming of some flowers, the abundance of the flora was absolutely wonderful.

What a lovely place! Fairy seemed to be enjoying herself---perhaps, in their wisdom, dogs find the possibility of squirrels to be just as exciting as the actuality of squirrels. We humans might do well to learn that from them? Thank you to you & your family for sharing your lovely greyhound adventures.

This was a real treat! What a lovely place! As a garden designer myself, I loved the nice tour seeing all the gunnera (giant rhubarb), cestrum, echiums, foxgloves, the busy bee on the iris...the paths and stairs added to the gardens' mysteries and surprises.
I do think Fairy enjoyed all the sights and scents in the air...such a trooper! Up and down all those stairs...good girl!
Fairy's favorite part was looking at the sea while relaxing on her throne. You have quite the wonderful life, Princess Fairy, and her family.
    Thank you!!

What beautiful gardens. Thank you for taking us along. Funny enough when my ex racer greyhound Catch first arrived i had to carry her upstairs as she to found stairs challenging. Like yourself after some training stairs are now no problem.

I googled that garden and it is 200 acres including the estate but still that is a massive property.Im surprised they got it done with 22 gardeners back in the day.Really beautiful and what a great collection of plants.🇨🇦♥️

@@kgrant3184 Yep they're out.Had a huge black bear in my yard about two feet from me but I was in a chain link fenced large dog pen,and it was also down by the lake houses.Super bold.😬I've had a grizzly pop out of the bushes ten feet from me so it's all relative haha. Its really weird that we're so close of neighbours on a random dog channel🤣♥️

@@kgrant3184 Im at 10 mile on the non lake side and I can't have a vegetable garden because I have mycelium based soil and the deer, wild turkeys, raven, packrat, squirrels, raccoons and whatever else is rampaging around here constantly just eat everything lol.I have an acre and ornamentals but most of it is just wild.I just turned 65! I don't get into town much as I don't have a vehicle and I'm pretty much a feral bush hermit 🤣 I was a waitress in the old Queens bar here which pretty much killed my love for humanity and I was bitten by a tick which makes it hard for me to process the way town is so busy and noisy and big city.

    Hi Lucie, what MAGNIFICENT gardens!
(Though, after living for ~13 years in sub-tropical southern China [teaching], when I see gardens like this, I think of the massive SPIDERS/ WEBS that they always seem to include! Got over my crippling fear of venomous snakes, but eeek! spiders - not THEM. They were so big, my entire class would come to a standstill if one appeared in the classroom - the students [of ALL ages] were just as afraid as I was.
Once, when hiking with a friend at "Ding Hu Shan", a UNESCO world heritage site, my baby finger hit the strand of a massive web as I was walking. There was a ping, and an absolutely MONSTROUSLY-large bright yellow and black spider ended up beside the path - missing one of its legs - torn off, I surmise, by my baby finger hitting the web. I jumped in fear away from it... Ugh. 6-7inch long spiders - NOT my cup of tea!)
Thanks so much for taking us with you, Fairy and family. Appreciate it so much. You are an EXCELLENT ambassador for the UK and its beautiful sites.
Once more, WELL DONE! (Hey, and I noticed the colour coordination of your daughter's and Fairy's sweater/ jumpers. Nice!) Cheers!

I hate spiders, luckily we didn’t see any or their webs! That sounds an amazing experience living in China! 🇨🇳

@@Fairythegreyhound Yes, amazing, with both very good, and very bad experiences - had two of the best bosses of my life, and 2-3 of the WORST - nothing like feeling helpless (visa-dependent) in a foreign country...
And massive spiders (and cockroaches) were EVERYWHERE - including in my teaching supplies cupboard - was TERRIFYING even opening the door, never mind reaching in to get my things.
Also saw mostly huge, often venomous snakes, literally EVERY time I went hiking, and one bit my beloved dog and I nearly lost him. Shiver, and UGH! We just have sometimes deadly creatures here - bears, cougars, etc. Cheers!
