What a beautiful place! I think Fairy looked a bit disappointed on the way back: "Why did you take me into a forest with NO SQUIRRELS??" It's no doubt better that way for you, especially with those steep cliff-edges. Fairy is getting to be quite the mountain goat---er, greyhound! Thank you for sharing this lovely walk with your lovely dog & charming daughter.

Great weather BTW. Lovely little place. Fairy's quite fit. My grey is 10 years old she sleeps even more now, but loves being off the lead.

I like the idea of Fairy being warm rather than cold. Her natural coat isn't that furry, like my dog's. When it's cold out I need to time his potty breaks. 👍👍

Wales looks like Middle Earth. Are you Welsh, if it's not inappropriate to ask?

Lucie, I finally got around to watching this, and - in addition to being a stunningly beautiful walk, it GREATLY resembles a place where I resided in a Great Aunt's house after I (& my beloved dog) returned from teaching in China - Riondel, B.C. Canada, on the site of an old mine. The trails there are NOT really "official", and the elevation isn't as high right there, but the trails, flora, little streamlets, etc. are very similar. On those vantage points, though, the view is down to a 100-mile long lake - Kootenay Lake.
Walked there MANY times with my dog - always a little leery of perhaps slipping off the often precipitous trail, and into a mine crevasse. Once in winter, my big black dog (THRILLED with the snow he'd never experienced before), took off running - undoubtedly after a squirrel or something. I called and called and retraced all steps, getting ever-sicker at heart, only to find him sitting arrow-straight outside a neighbour's place, waiting for me to find him. What relief...!!
So, I understand your needing to keep Fairy on-leash... Wonderful walk, delightful sights, and LOVED the way Fairy totally zonked-out at night upon return to your van. Classic. Looking forward to your possible Scotland trip (my paternal ancestral homeland - well, 3/4. The other 1/4 is the Fair Green Isle.) Cheers from far away!

That was an amazing forest walk, the scenery was awesome. I wonder if Fairy was dreaming about it on her sleep back home.
    Thank you for sharing 💕

..nice, but can`t fairy walk without dogleash?...

No she has a high prey drive from her previous racing and runs off chasing squirrels and recently cut her ear and face badly whilst doing so. She stays on lead in the woods for her own safety and only goes off lead on the beach
