True confession, I’m just like Fairy in the morning especially if it’s cold 🫣 That was great visiting that beautiful bay & Fairy cracked me up sitting on your knees & thinking she would fit on that backpack 😂😂
My hounds hated pebbles on the beach and pebble driveways. The shape of their pads means that they get stuck in between their pads unlike the big flat pads on say a labrador or a spaniel. So many times after walking on pebbles I'd get that sad look and a raised paw to take that annoying pebble out. A few steps on sand, and it was the complete opposite, my ex-racers truly loved a sandy beach, I think it reminded them of the race track. I loved letting them both off, and watching them goof around and run at full tilt. Thank you for sharing. Fairy is a beaut!
Just along the coast is Worbarrow Bay where we put my dads ashes, He was an eminent geologist and palaeontologist and loved that bit of coast so much it was easy to imagine him standing beside Fairy at Stair Hole. On to the New Forest which is my neck of the woods, I hope Fairy will enjoy blatting about at top speed in all the places that my own dear Velo (greyhound cross) used to do, scattering the crows joyously
i been to lulworth cove twice - by boat!! MAGIC place. first time, i steered a 65foot sailboat in - it can be a little tricky due to the currents. second visit on a 27footer we all wore balaclavas to storm to the beach en route to the pub. that was a proper laugh........... thanks for stirring those memories of lovely lulworth
I can see Fairy longing for a place to run & wondering why you've brought her to this greyhound hell. But I'm sure the New Forest will make up for everything, & if it doesn't, well, there's always chicken!
02:50 This is torture. Seeing all these flavours (how I would like to try Black Currant!). Where I live there are just some boring sorts. Chocolate would be ok but only as "Rocky Road" with roasted almonds and marshmallows that I once had in Worhing.
Just like a child - "NO MOM, I don't HAVE to." Ten-fifteen minutes later "MO-OM, I HAVE TO GO!!" (with no bathroom in sight by that time, of course). No, Lucie, you're NOT spoiling "her highness" Fairy by catering to her every whim - Lucie as much softer-seat/ perch, anyone? Careful there, Fairy might just turn out like my CAT - the most DEMANDING (AND destructive!) now-elderly "Il divo" cat. Sigh - I won't even GO there...(I'm too ashamed, of him, and ME). My dog? NEVER gave me so much trouble as the "low maintenance" cat. Right. Just know that when cat people tell you that a cat is LOW maintenance, there is a good chance that they're LYING... GORGEOUS cove/ scenery, BTW. Do scientists think it was formed by a meteor, it is so round? Could be. As always, greatly appreciated/ enjoyed. Please kiss the top of Fairy's beautiful nose for me/ us. Cheers!
Fairy the lapdog 😁🌺💗
Hilarious opening; won't get up unless it's for food!
Room service for Fairy!

Totally agree with you on your ice cream selection. I always go with chocolate. Awesome cove. Thank you for sharing.
Always the best selection, just can't go wrong w/ it. :)

I saw your VW in Chelmsford earlier today, found the channel from there!
Ah brilliant I did wonder if anyone of my viewers had watched because they’d seen my van advert!! 😀
