- I show you in this video how I winterproof/winterize my pressure washer. I show two methods to stop freezing which are antifreeze and heat and I also show how to drain the fuel from the tank and carburetor ready for winter storage.

I just leave the ball valve open, and leave in the shed, I've never had a problem in 9 years of pw.
Thx for the great video Dave! Very nice info to share. Do you have a link for the heater you use?
I got mine from Toolstaition

Great video Dave I’ve never thought to put anti freeze in, could you have put an m22 quick release male on the plastic thread and connected it to the pump outlet and ran it through that way ?
Actually I’m not sure that would work, I think you’d actually need the adaptor you have there for that to work so would be pointless 😅 ignore me
🤦♂Why didn't i think of that 👍
When I no it’s going to be cold overnight, I just blow everything through with an air line, even hoses on hose reels. Been doing it like this for years
I have seen it done like that on videos but I don’t have a compressor
Air naturally has moisture in it so that is no help, it will still freeze and cause damage, just not as immediate as if it was full of water.
@@stuartcraigon2003 so tell me what you suggest we do then?
