Bless the dog shelter lady and her volunteers and now YOU for helping the dogs! Love how they dig holes and go in them. Maybe you could put the shelter’s name for donations. Your walk is beautiful! We have a road like this that the bikers like called Mullholland Hwy in California. You have such a lovely spirit, it comes out to us in how you see the beauty in things. 💖 We LOVE curry so really enjoyed watching you make yours. Diane, thanks for the walk about. It is very nice there, I can attest to that! I didn't know Brian was a chief. He did a grand job of cooking. If/when we move...I want to cook with and cook for you guy's. That would be so much fun. I have a neighbor that I cook with here. We do holiday dinners together, bourbon usually helps...or not LOL. Hi Brian and Diane, lovely walk, and nice to have a break, from prepping and go walkies and socialise. Good curry mix, Brian, Woolworths curry mix for me...I'm lazy! Love a big pinch of curry even in my omelettes...and that awesome aroma! floating in the air!! Can't live without it. Try sweet potatoes on the side cooked with pinch of Turmeric and sugar to taste! Garlic bread ..divine! That's living! Off to the kitchen...byee...

No better way to celebrate your new kitchen with a curry with friends. If you are looking out for more exotic spices/teas for Asian and other cuisines, I can recommend Rota das Índias on-line shop. The dogs would love a visit for enrichment and these little shelters always need help. Looking forward to the casa de banho❤. Have a good weekend.

Really enjoying your videos. We are restoring a finca in Spain. We have similar problems with weeds and reeds! We've put down the black liner on the land where we have trees (we have 40 olive trees) and then laid gravel all over the land. We're also building raised veg beds which are a lot easier to manage with regard to the weeds! We have an area to clear where we are going to plant some fruit trees and we will do the same. Again we have the same weather and we stay indoors during the day in July and August! It is amazing how you change your daily routines when you move abroad!

Very good work by you both! I love the kitchen and design choices. Kudos to doing the work yourselves. It must be very rewarding! It was for my husband and I who did a lot of DIY'ing before we left the States to come to Portugal. I agree, markets are not the expected cheap, though nice when you find that needed or must have item!

Hi, tea is expensive here in France too. I found Indian/Asian online supermarkets with big bags of pg tips, cheaper EU delivery, they also sell chutney, pickles, affordably. Your food prices are very similar to France. I don’t know if your intermarche sells yellow Lipton tea is passable. Does your Intermarché have the store loyalty app? They do lots of cash backs on seasonal sales here, not sure about there? Also the lidl app is fantastic for getting money off essentials like fruit and veg.

The flowering weed looks like pineapple sage to me. But you might want to take a piece to a garden center and see if it is pineapple sage. It’s great for making tea.
