Canik Frame/Trigger Safety Delete: Temporary for Free!
Temporarily deleting the frame/trigger safety is an easy mod that you can do yourself for free and you can put the firearm back to original whenever you want. This guns frame safety is much harder to keep centered compared to my HK VP9 and SilencerCo Maxim 9, so I even looked up getting a new frame/trigger safety to be able to grind off the back, but then thought of this. The gun still retains an internal firing block safety and drop safety in the back of the gun.

Great video. New subscriber. Just picked up one of these PSA Dissipator uppers. Is it necessary to use a rifle length buffer system in these and if so why is that? Thank you
@@markz.5891 thanks for the compliment and subscribing! So the A2 stock it comes with is longer internally than a mill spec buffer that takes a six position stock. The A2 stock comes with a rifle length buffer, which is longer than your standard H2 or H3 and other variations of six position stock buffers. I’ve thought about getting a heavier rifle length buffer to slow the rate of fire down some and keep the gun cleaner suppressed, but haven’t done it yet. If you’re just buying the complete upper and building your own lower receiver or sourcing one, I’m sure you could go with a six position stock and mill spec H1, H2, H3, buffer as needed.

@@ADAMKRO definitely go with the OSS/HUXWRX out of these suppressors for this gun. I’m torn between the 556 and 762.
@@honkhonk1555 WBP makes quality firearms and that’s a big decision. I would also like the 5.56 version someday just to complete a collection. Maybe make a pros/cons list of what’s most important for you now and perhaps you could get the other in time. Let me know your thoughts. Here are some of mine. 5.56 ammo is more available right now. It’s less recoil and lighter weight to carry more. 7.62 has more energy in this barrel length and the magazines are cheaper and easier to find compared to 5.56 AK mags. You can get 7.62 drums as well. You can also use subsonic ammo like Detroit Ammo 220 grain, Brown Bear 196 grain (if you can find it) and Hornady 255 grain, but it’s expensive.
3:39 is that the ammo or the magazines fault?
@@Scythe_Voltage I tried three different magazines, Bakelite, Romanian with US follower, and Croatian bolt hold open, and the bullets didn’t make it in the chamber. My receiver has been shortened and rebuilt with a different trunnion from damage, so the failure to feeds might be from that. I wish I had a new/original Micro Draco to see if this MFX ammo feeds properly with it.
I was about to order one tomorrow, does it damage the gun if you use another type of ammo? Do you have to use that ammo? Mine doesn’t have a stock so would it make it better? I don’t wanna damage the gun so if it does I’ll just save the 800$
If it’s for a Micro Draco, only use a baffle suppressor like the Wolverine with subsonic ammo because you can’t get an adjustable gas block for it and KNS can’t make an adjustable piston that short that would work. AK’s are already over gassed, and adding a Wolverine with any supersonic ammo forces the bolt back extra hard and will cause damage to a Micro Draco. Stock or no stock, the bolt slams back into the trunnion. I believe you could get either gas adjustment system for the bigger Draco pistol and of course all 16” barrel guns. An adjustable piston is easy to install yourself, but it gets the receiver filthy quick. There’s a few different companies making adjustable gas blocks, but they require a press to switch them and some research. (I had M13 Industries put a DAG13 in my Mini Jack sbr). You’ll have to adjust the gas between subs and supers for either gas solving system. Flow through or Ultra low back pressure suppressors like HUXWRX or maybe SilencerCo Velos can be used without a gas adjustment system and the gun will stay much cleaner, but subsonic rounds are loud af compared to a baffle suppressor. Really, for the cost of everything, I kind of wish I didn’t buy it now, but it’s a good learning experience to share with everyone. I have a newer video with it using a binary trigger even. ua-cam.com/video/lQlJwwOAVGw/v-deo.htmlsi=4wbUtFa0rU3OadWL Supersonic rounds unsuppressed, subsonic rounds suppressed.
@@RangeToyz dang it, thanks so much for the info and your time. I was gonna order a binary trigger so if I “full auto” fire would that damage anything? I ordered the micro Draco, costume pistol grip, costume rail, costume foregrip, 75 round drum mag, flashlight laser combo, and 1000 rounds of “brass ammo” i don’t know much about it but the guy at the gun store hooked me up, I was gonna order the suppressor and binary trigger today but my debit card has a 2k spending limit. But is full auto with no suppressor gonna damage anything? I want this gun to last for the rest of my life so any info helps thanks so much
@ so I’ve got a different rear trunnion for that triangle stock that they had to switch out to. The normal trunnion that comes with a Micro Draco has a bar across the bottom of it that doesn’t let the Franklin Armory trigger sit flat, so it has to be removed and I don’t know if that effects the strength of the back of the receiver. People have done it though, and it’s worth looking at it. I’m not sure how Fostech designs their binary triggers and if they would be different. I edited in the link to my Micro Draco video on the last comment if you didn’t see it already ;)
Just ordered me one of those Garmins.
@@Keep_It_Loaded it’s awesome, but can’t do buckshot or birdshot 🥲
I need to find more brown bear ammo it’s hard to find
@@Sofarguns407 you’re right, it’s the best subsonic 7.62 x 39 and used to be a lot cheaper and available before demand and sanctions. Detroit Ammo has some 220 grain subsonic and Hornady has some new ones, but they are pretty expensive.

What's it sound like shooting buckshot or a slug?
@@JohnC-o8l in full 12 inch configuration, it really takes the initial blast away, but you still hear the supersonic crack. It’s interesting with buckshot because of all the pellets and if you’re using a pump gun like this, then the sound doesn’t start till it’s a good ways away from you at the end of the silencer. Slugs suppress a little bit better because they feel the bore and the baffles are more efficient like that. @@chadw.6049 Omega used to make this specific 9mm drum sight on their MP5 builds, but I haven’t found them anywhere for sale. I’ve been searching all over UA-cam and you’re the first person I seen get this done on a ak pistol. I wanna do the same thing but for my zastava zpap….. btw really nice build man
@@killzxo21 I made this short barrel myself originally by tapping and drilling two holes for a Stormwerkz hinge and Ace stock. It was the easiest way for me to do it with the flat rear trunnion. I really only shot it after I made it into a short barrel rifle and using this suppressor with less than 200 rounds of supersonic and subsonic ammo combined, started tearing the rivets in the trunnion from too much back pressure and bent the back of the receiver outward on both sides. I sent it to a shop and they cut off the back of the receiver and said this was the only stock they could use. They welded closed the original holes and drilled new ones for the new trunnion and refinished the entire receiver as well as adding the gas block with built-in pic rail.
