@@illestdomer2005 make sure your ejector lever doesn’t drag and keep them clean and lubed. These K’s run a little faster, and I need to try my full size MP5’s without a suppressor to see if less back pressure will let the rollers unlock quicker. Keep practicing that rhythm and let them rip!
@@RangeToyz yeah I replaced my MKE ejector with an HK and an 80 degree locking piece (RCM), and she is running like a top with 115gr - 147gr with and without the Omega 9k. I haven’t tried 165gr subs yet though.
I had to have one with just an A3 Tactical MP5k Angled Foregrip Forend and an Evike Matrix Tactical Single Point Bungee Sling. No optic or mount. I did get an HK C-1 for that one too, but that's it.
Awesome briefcase style AOW and you can still run a brass catcher without an optic. Binary is so fun for the price compared to a transferable mg. Glad you’re into MP5’s and binary triggers too!

@@RangeToyz The finishing touch was just ordered. Replacing the AP5-m contoured trigger housing on this one with an HK MP5k 9mm SEF Navy Style Housing-Push Pin. This now gives you probably the most unique, non-accessorized, SHTF MP5k clone you'll own.
@@LakeBauer-c2y it’s probably a bent extractor spring. You might be able to move your extractor just barely to be able to tell. If it is, upgrade to the steel extractor spring made for rifles, and it will work even better. I’ve had that happen multiple times with the regular ones. Seems to happen the most when I use heavy subsonic rounds.
@@LakeBauer-c2y I also have trouble with some MKE magazines and try to use only HK ones. I’m still not sure about the perfect spot for the set screw in the front of the binary trigger pack. I raise the pack up until the trigger housing doesn’t wobble.
@@LakeBauer-c2y I’m not sure. I don’t have any experience with the Magpul grips. Seems like they would be made to the same spec as other grips, especially HK ones.

An AOW can fit into those HK briefcases. I wonder about the legalities of using a sbr without a stock when then the overall length isn’t what the NFA paperwork says. A $5 tax stamp might be an insensitive for someone in the future to buy it over a $200 sbr transfer stamp. I see your point when the stock is folded or collapsed. A sbr is the best of both worlds.
@@RangeToyz also, if you need to sell the gun you can always have it removed from the registry and it becomes a pistol again. Maybe just have a laser engraver etch out the previous info for cosmetics.
@@salsalvio821 it took probably 15 years to collect all of these MP5s. It took a lot of thought if I should get an APM-M too, because I couldn’t suppress it. I got one, made it into a sbr, and it cycled so well and stayed clean. I then got another for an AOW… then another for a left handed AOW lol I still don’t have a reverse stretch, but I’m okay with that. I think my MP5 collection is complete. It would be amazing to have a transferable sear though.

I've Ben having jamming issues with my ap5-m I have a franklin binary in it it won't eject a spent casing any ideas on how to fix this issue

Ok I've heard that the magpul mp5 grips when made to fit a k version or on a standard mp5 make the binary work better any thoughts

I replaced my extractor spring with a spare one and it seemed to fix the jamming issue I was having thanks for the advice well apritiated 😊

Not even worth doing an AOW when you can do SBR and just not use the stock. Then you have both configurations.
