Thanks for watching and your good words 👊 I’ll try to keep these extended videos going if I can. Just got a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and I’m recording in 4k and a DJI Mic 2 transmitter for better picture and sound than my IPhone SE. I’m investing into my channel more to help everyone out :)
Now is the perfect time to buy a can with the fast turnarounds. I’m excited to hear (no pun intended lol) which one you’re getting and for which host(s).
@@RangeToyz I went with the omega 9k for my mp5k build. Also plan to see how it works with my 300aac build but mainly it will live on my mp5k can’t wait for it to get out of nfa jail.
Same here! I bought a Nomad 30 for my rattler due to our man here. Hours of research, reading and watch videos were all a giant waste. I just needed his, probably 5 minute, comparison
Right now I use a Hybrid 46M in short version on my 10.5 inch 300 Blackout with very good results. It inspired me to get the Lahar 30k. I'm presently waiting for the ATF to give the thumbs up.
Right on! You’ve got a thumbs up from me already. Good length on your Hybrid 46M to keep it shorter, lighter and still quiet. Low back pressure with the bore size or 30 caliber endcap to make it quieter. Hope you get the Lahar 30k soon. That tighter bore should make good decibel reduction for it’s length compared to the 46M in short configuration. One of my friends got the Lahar 30 and he’s stoked on it! I’ve got two Rugged Micro 30s. They have three baffles in full configuration, two in short configuration. I hope to get a video out soon of one and my new host. I’m not sure which length I’m sticking with yet, so that’ll help me decide. Looks like Aero packed three baffles into the 30k and it still has a decent blast chamber.
Glad to help! A good follower asked for a comparison between the 9K and 45k, and I added the 300. I was curious about the sound difference and back pressure too. Are you going multi caliber, need lower back pressure or going for the quietest?
@@RangeToyz I wouldn’t mind having options but currently it will be a dedicated 300blk subsonic suppressor. I don’t have an adjustable block and only have a milspec buffer. I want quiet and reliable cycling.
@@syrusdvirus2951 I guess you’ll see when you get it. I’ve made system changes when a can wasn’t what I expected and even bought a different host for it. I hope I’m giving valuable information about host and suppressor combinations for all.
@@RangeToyz definitely helped. Once I get it I’ll at least know if I encounter issues what I can do to mitigate them based on your setup and others putting out helpful content. Looks like 300 is getting an omega 300.
Thanks! Congrats on getting yours! It’s fantastic for any 30 caliber with its length, weight and sound reduction. Nice price on the direct thread mount option now too. Did you get the complete kit with ASR mount like I did years ago? I’m currently waiting for my BOGO DTM. I have to share this one with my Ruger American Ranch 7.62x39 until then.
Yes I got the full kit as well. Just shot it on my AR 223 and it does bring the sound down quite a bit. I would imagine changing the end cap down to the 223 size would help even further.
@@DLXSKIFFMITCHELL nice! You’re right about the 223/5.56 endcap. I just put one on my Rugged Micro 30 in my last video and you can hear the difference. It adds some back pressure though. I’m searching for a heavier buffer for my A2 stock to help with that.
This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm down to deciding between an Omega 300 and a 46M with a 30 cal end plate as a dedicated for my 10" 300 BLK. I'm leaning towards a direct thread 300, but wondering if the over bore would make a noticable difference in the sound?
@@pogeegitz I always go with the closest to the bore size for the quietest if you can tune or if the gun doesn’t need to be tuned. I’m just guessing here, but I think even with the extra length of the 46m, it would have a lower tone and back pressure, but the Omega 300 would still be quieter and have that sweet pffft sound with subs and supers. I just got a call from from SilencerCo and my BOGO Omega 300 is going to ship soon. This 300 blackout will have one and the new one will go onto my Ruger American Ranch in 7.62x39. They are fantastic sounding mid size suppressors, and I love them when kept lightweight and short with direct thread
Nice. Buddy currently has his Omega 300 dedicated to his 10.5" 300blk and has tried his Omega 9K. Just told me he's thinking about grabbing the Omega 45K for it for a while prior to hoping to have a Scythe for it, lol. Don't think I've seen you use your Scythe on a 300blk yet?
@@Keep_It_Loaded my rate of fire with supersonic loads would probably be too much for it lol 800 degrees for titanium I think is around 10 shots rapidly then letting the can cool.
what spring do you have in the Buffer Tube with the H3? I have a mk109 mod1 and can't use anything past setting 1 and I use ULTRA LIGHT springCO spring in Yellow. with a H1 buffer weight. I have never been able to use my mk109 in setting 3.... I think their gas ports are not big enough in the barrel. I run it in setting 1 all the time... always suppressed. I run my mk109 with a Hydrogen S and also a Omega 36m.
I’m using the Franklin Armory medium spring that comes with the binary trigger. I forget how it compares to the standard spring that I built this lower with. I’ve never been able to use setting 3 on this gun on this gun for suppressor use either, same with the MK109 Pro I sold to upgrade to this.
@@RangeToyz good to know. i tried a standard carbine spring in mine and it worked but not as good as the yellow springco which is lighter then a carbon spring.
Thanks! I bought and installed the 30 caliber Bravo Front Cap to make it shorter. I don’t really need the Bravo Anchor Brake on it for this 300 blackout medium cartridge. I think it’s quieter too having all of the gas directed forward instead of to the sides with the brake.
@@RangeToyz I knew the Omega 300 is rated highly for 300blk but I was concerned about the MK109 cycling issues. It looks like this combo is a win! So it sounds like H3 and carbine spring did the trick for you?
@@stinct1776 yes, H3 and Franklin Armory’s medium spring in here now. I think I had a carbine spring in it before I went with the binary trigger. The Omega 300 compliments it nicely with the right amount of back pressure. It’s shorter, lighter and quieter than the original discontinued SilencerCo Saker 7.62 that I had on it and my MK109 Pro as well.
It should sound the same as an Omega 300. Of course the Sythe is lighter weight. I don’t think you’re supposed to get titanium above 800°, so it would be a lighter firing schedule, maybe 10 or 15 rounds a minute depending on your barrel length with supersonic ammo. I think subsonic ammo would probably be fine for a mag dump on this length barrel or longer as long as you let it cool for the next magazine.
@@RangeToyzout of these personally I would go with the 45k for a setup like this I run a primal on my 300 blk with a flash hider end cap and I’m very happy with it I like the versatility of the 45 can and personally think they sound good and the fact they can run on a pistol is awesome

Optics Planet has a 12% off code UPGRD right now that brings the Adams Arms P2 8” 300 blackout upper to 726. It’s a little shorter barrel and handguard, but I like short stroke pistons better.
