tomtoc Arccos-G47 Travel Bag Review
Переглядів 1,7 тис.7 місяців тому
Now that the NucDeck is complete, I needed a safe way to take it places so when tomtoc asked me to review their Arccos-G47 Travel Bag I jumped at the opportunity. This bag is designed for larger handheld gaming devices such as the Steamdeck, ROG Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go. But will it fit the slightly unusual shape of the NucDeck? Tomtoc also offers a two year warranty if you register your p...

cooool!
Wow, great job my guy!
I hate how easy you made this look! Fantastic job!
What a sweet little machine!
Absolutely amazing work.
Hey Dan I’m planning on doing something very similar to this and I was wondering if you have like a parts sheet in a google doc or something lol? Great videos btw super underrated!
Great video
I cant wait to build one of these one day oh my word!!!! I would prolly use a slightly less powerful nuc line for bat life this is so exciting to watch! Thank you for taking all the extra steps so show us how as well amazing! I do miss the power display second screen. made it look futuristic while maintaining a unique function.
This channel should be hitting 100k+ sub by now, very underrated. +1 sub for you here.
for the record that activation overlay on the bottom actually takes up a good amount of gpu to render it on top of things. Linus tech tips showed proof of this.
2:55 joysticks from playstation and xbox didn't fit? they just usually don't have such backlight 9:45
Insted make a tablet like pc and just buy a f**ing controler whichever suits your hands My preference is a keyboard and mouse
Good job!
this aint building shit this is just repackaging
That is some clean looking work, amazing.
very impressive! Great job
Am an electrical engineer and machinist as well, your skill set is very very impressive as a fellow maker you have my respect
wow
this is what i need to see more. people just making their own handheld pc
The music is too loud
This is so f*ing cool bro nice job 👍
SO grateful to youtube for recommending this gem to me
How I wish I were his son. Once he's done, I could use his projects for myself. You're amazing, sir!
This is absolutely unreal for a DIY project. You've got serious talent.
it s called experience
Hey are the project files including pcb design for this bms available anywhere?
Dude, u did a god job 200% congratss for that huge project u did dude, it's just awesome <3
I build my own Steam Deck, handheld, whatever. I think its Superior to any otehr handheld out there and this is the only reason i even started this small project, i had Legion Go, I had OneXplayer X1 AMD, 11inch handhelds and they sucked, even with Thunderbolt attached GPU they still sucked, onexplayer has oculink, so i managed to make it more powerful without thunderbolt issues, but to play games i needed 2 cables, charging and oculink [which is wide, stiff cable with limited run, maximum 1meter long] So when i got a modded OLED switch from aliexpress, i tested Sunshine and then it hit me: I Sold legion go I returned onexplayer to aliexpress [they have 90 days return windows, suck on that amazon] I returned hacked Switch to Aliexpress too I ordered on sale a mini PC with 8845H soc, it has USB 4.0, Oculink and DUAL gen 4.0 NVMe [very few mini PCs offer both oculink and dual NVMe] Oh and it has external antenna so WiFi signal can be boosted and WiFi card replaced, but i disabled WiFi and went with 2.5Gb Ethernet. I already had Oculink dock and 4060Ti and i had the latest gamesir stretchy gamepad And the last part of this hgandheld puzzle is to get BIG size but not heavy [I have ipad M1 12.9 and i tested it as handheld, i got tired fast] I got ipad pro 11inch M4, it has OLED and supports 120hz and most important unlike MOST handhelds has HDR, INSANE HDR with Dual OLED screens I found chinese slim case for ipad pro that has build in routed 10gbps cable, so the USB-C port routed inside the case from its right side to bottom, this way when i have stretchy gamepad on, i can still charge or plug USB-C audio So the miniPC + 4060Ti has Sunshine ipad pro has moonlight Gamnepad dongle is pluged into mini PC to save on latency, audio i either use wireless also pluged into mini PC, or ipad speakers or wired USB-C headphones, but i prefer the dongle into mini PC this way i get virtual surround, dolby atmos for headphone This is the best handheld, for YEARS to come, 11inch screen, dual OLED, has HDR, the miniPC has oculinked 4060Ti that next year can be easily upgraded to 5060 or 5060Ti depends on benchmarks [or AMD card, i dont mind] ipad pro is so pixel dense that it doesnt need 2K resolutions, 1080p for standard games or native ipad pro resolution for games that support such non standard resolutions is more than enough Nvidia has RTXHDR that is better than AutoHDR on windows, every game can be streamed in HDR mode even if they dont support, even emulated games Some emulators can run from ipad, PSP emulator does maximum render, i think 8K or something, whatever maximum option runs fast on ipad, many people on dekstop PCs cant even do x6, so ipad is far from trash
You know what I really want/need? A very small device that I can plug into my modem or router via a standard Cat6e cable, and it'll give me a speedtest reading. That's it. That's all it has to do. The NIC should be at least 2.5gigbit, max and if it was battery powered & PoE powered that would be a huge bonus.
Please someone explain why Microsoft couldn’t take the series s and make a handheld / laptop that is Xbox and mobile with few hours of battery
Epic.!!! wats the song wen you did the reveal?
you need to use 2K paint exclusively ;) that'll not chip on you and also more scratch resistant. make sure the primer is compatible with the type of plastic you ues
please tell me what is the name of this power control board?
Know what would be really crazy? A discrete GPU in one of those things. You can sacrifice an NVMe slot and get a pcie adapter(m.2>pcie), or even use thunderbolt if one's got it. Heck even an MXM GPU...., could all be cool. Would probably have to be steam deck x Nintendo DS type of design though
Hamza late nights?
Test gta 5
Much hard work. It looks amazing. I am stumped though as to why the hdmi couldn't be connected internationally. I just see it being week link. Only saying it's shame with how much great work you have put into it.
Seems like you constantly forget to breathe 😂
I feel that using the trackpads compresses the joysticks and d-pads into inconvenient positions. I would prefer to have virtual trackpads like PS Portal. I think PS Portal's grips are better and the joysticks in better positions, but for my girlfriend who has shorter fingers it would suit her better to have joycons like the switch. I hope I helped so you can improve your design even more! Good luck with your amazing project!
the music is so loud, dislike
can you provide the link for everything you have to buy in this video? I want to make one inspired from this video
awesome work bro!! if Only I have time :( really like to try making DIY handheld gaming like this,
That’s actually pretty good 👍🏻
Can you try running bazziteOS on this device? So it would be a perfect steamdeck competitor hahaha
I want one can i buy this
The video and build quality are crazy hope to watch your sub numbers climb as more people find this challenge awesome job!
Ever thought of incorporating transparent shoulder buttons like those on a PSP? Also, swap the rumble motors for haptic motors to save space.
have you made a dual screen one yet like a DS?
Windows 🤢🤮🤧
Not sure why the algorithm pointed me to you, but Im sure glad it did. Sick build.
Very cool. Tip: turn down the music next time. It’s hard to follow
