Are you saying not to eat fermented foods at all like kimchi or sauerkraut?
Turmeric is highly healthful BUT most of it that is easily found is full of heavy metals. You must find organic turmeric , preferably locally grown, in bulb form, and grate it yourself. The thing about eating healthy and being healthy is that you must spend the time to be healthy; eating at home means making your own food so you know that you are eating well, and that the ingredients are good. The only spices that were found to be "clean" of heavy metals for the most part in a recent study were McCormick and Simply organic made by Frontier. Being healthy takes thought, planning, and time, and willing yourself to do what it takes. If you can't do it for yourself, do it for those you love like this nice Doctor who is doing it for her kids.

As someone with a couple of decades or more of mystery stomach problems, I will point out that almond skins are high in salicylates. I'm not saying to not eat healthy, but salicylates are high in a lot of foods that are considered very healthy. Food elimination diets are hard for salicylate sensitivity because they are high in a variety of (normally healthy) things. I improved almost immediately when I cut out high-salicylate foods. I miss avocados, but my stomach doesn't.
I have neuropathy in my legs and arms and parts of my back and stomach off and on. I'm all for reducing inflammation and boosting stem cells, helping mitochondria, etc. I need all the help I can get.

I would assume that's only if the almond skin may be left on. But great video. It will make me more aware of my coconut milk consumption 😅
I listened to Dr Gundry too, and he said don't eat the peel of almonds bec of the lectins, that's is why he doesn't advise to drink almond milk, he said drink coconut milk rather.

That part about almond flour changes when you're baking. If you're on keto, you know that baking the two different types of flour result in different textures and consistency.
